I dont't know why, But no Marty and Hayley this morning. In fact no Marty at all.. maybe the weather..dreadful rain 70mm in less than a day.. more than we would normally get in the whole month of June. Come on Hayley.. Bring The Weather With You..looking forward to Thursday in the National Concert Hall.. Starting to get that giddy feeling..quite strange.. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Bring The Weather With You..looking forward to Thursday in the National Concert Hall.. Starting to get that giddy feeling..quite strange.. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee That's exactly the situation in Seattle this month! We've already had more rain than average for the whole month of June, and it's only June 8th! Not too warm, either. It was warmer in Alaska. The other day they said the only place cooler than us was somewhere in Siberia! I think they meant in the Northern Hemisphere, though, as it must have been colder in Christchurch, if it was snowing! We could certainly use a change in the weather courtesy of Hayley here, as well.

Monday 11th June 2012 c. 9:43 Marty plays Whispers in a Dream from Paradiso and a SHORT INTERVIEW WITH HAYLEY follows : Whispers in a dream, he mentions is based on Gabriel's Oboe and that the Maestro Ennio Morricone was happy with the piece and Hayley's lyrics, But was the Oboe Player happy ?I wonder does this imply or allude to the 50th anniversary of The Late Late Show which was only a couple of weeks ago, which means the interview is more recent than we may have previously thought. They discuss various Charities, Bikes for Ghana and the Dame Vera Lynn Trust. Hayley's music selection is Canto Della Terra by Andrea Bocelli and it is mentioned that Hayley sang this with Bocelli in Asia. DOWNLOAD INTERVIEW HERE

Mediafire gets horrible these days. They seem to go out of their way to con you into downloading something other that the thing you are after. Really annoying.

This morning about 8:25 Marty played Hayley singing Benedictus and reminded the listeners that he would be chatting with Hayley a little later on in the show, He mentions Hayley every few minutes until about twenty to ten when he plays Once Upon a Time in the West from Paradiso which leads us up to ANOTHER SHORT INTERVIEW WITH HAYLEY! They have a laugh about the lyrics from Once Upon a time in the West, He mentions her engagement to a "Cooking sound engineer" singing with Bryn Terfel, Working on a new album with ****** , and wishes Hayley well, Hayley's selection for the day is the wonderful piano piece The Days by Ludovico Einaudi (I am pleased to hear Hayley is a fan of Einaudi) So that is the end of the series of interviews with Hayley, Many thanks to Marty Whelan and Hayley for entertaining us for the past few days. It's been a pleasure to listen to. Hope you folks enjoyed them. DOWNLOAD TODAY'S INTERVIEW HERE They won't be there forever.

Martin D I suppose they have to get their pound of flesh some way Martin But look at what they allow you to do, I still find all this new technology amazing, I certainly don't take it for granted, People whom we both know of in Japan and China can download these recordings now, without waiting for a cassette or a reel of tape to arrive in the post in a few weeks time, and the cost of postage, Is that not wonderful ? I think it is and if it means the odd advertisment (Even from Vode-a-phone ) I will put up with it gladly.

The way you said it, Workin on a new album with **** I thot someone's name was revealed. But whatever it is, I think the coming album will be Hayley's biggest hit ever, I don't know why, but working with a lot of different artists and everything that we've been hearing of the new album is sooo promising XD

I agree Simba. I suspect that this one will be Hayley's own creation. I think she is a bit nervous about her own stuff. Not convinced it will be good enough.
But believe me, she has nothing to worry about. On most of her albums, her own stuff, and the places where she does her own thing are my favourite parts. I loved her Japanese Songs albums, because she did them her way. She has never had an international album where she did that.
I have a huge collection of recordings of Hayley's live performances, built up over the years. And the ones I love the most are those that are all Hayley. Where she accompanies herself on the piano, and the songs that she wrote.
An album that is all Hayley would be fabulous. And I think could easily be her biggest success.

Martin D Yes, that's what happens to me almost every time! At the very least, I end up with an extra window popping up without my noticing. I don't notice it until I hover over the tabs at the bottom, and I see an extra window that I didn't open purposely!

Thanks for all your good work, Paul! I enjoyed Hayley's interview, but I don't like MediaFire either for the same reasons. I've posted a link to this thread on our Facebook page. Best wishes, Richard

I don't wanna go off-topic, but if you're using pop-up blockers and adblocks (I'm using google chrome), none of those appear. And by far if you've been using other hosting websites, like rapidshare and stuff, you need to "WAIT" for 50 secs or sth before you get the download, and in the process they say "Don't wanna wait?, get premium" and bla, so in comparison mediafire is the best, and less bugging that's out there XD.... martindn: Honestly, my fav. hayley songs are her own XD, and an album full of her own stuff will instantly become my fav too. And strangely after hearing those interviews I had a dream of Hayley singing to Ludovico Einaudi's Nuvole Bianche .....o.o it was osm XD...I always loved that piece.
Maybe it's all a clue, working with different people, so maybe there's gonna be a recorded version of Canto Della Terra?! (I LOVE THAT SONG so much!!!) And maybe voice to one of Ludovico's pieces! This album opens the door to so many possibilities!

Hi everyone,
I'm just catching up on these interviews and this thread- great interviews! I used to be a 'guest' too, but so glad i signed up and can contribute to the discussion- I think everyone should sign up, this is a great forum. Also I agree with Simba, I have a good feeling about her next album, although its early days and we don't know much yet, but I love Hayley's lyrics and when she writes/co-writes her own stuff and if she is worried that its not good enough she doesn't need to be. I think its much better to write your own music and if her new album will have more of this- I can't wait! sorry if its off topic.

Hi Richard,
I always worry that I ramble on a bit! These were great interviews though, I bet Hayley's show will be amazing, so sad I haven't seen her live in ages!
