Lucy's first single is out. I won't post a direct link to Youtube since it's copyright material.

Good news ! Lucy's "Sound of Music" tour has been extended right up to October ! They may as well keep it going through the Christmas as well, we have some tots who visit us and they love both The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. Looking forward to Lucy's album.

I've got a front seat for that in August ! If I watch one musical this year it might as well be the most famous one of all with all the best songs ! It just shows what a vintage series The Voice 2015 was, with both Classical Reflection and Lucy O'Byrne emerging as stars. I've been watching The Voice 2016 (the last time it will be on BBC) but there's no-one of that calibre this time round.

Your wish is my command, Comet. The lady has obliged with a reply : I've no idea what that means but I'm sure it's all good. (If you want a laugh, listen to the English commentators trying to pronounce the names of Irish horses at Cheltenham next week !)

Thanks Jeff, I was only pulling your leg, but it is nice of Lucy to respond to your Tweets. Potentially, fans are for life, they are not just for Christmas I hope Lucy's people will feed a few promo copies of her new album into RTE in Dublin 4. Marty Whelan being a fellow Northsider might play some of her songs. I may already have mentioned Lucy to him. He has been playing numerous Julie Andrews songs over the last couple of months.

Hello Jeff! "Tá súil agam go bhfuil tú go maith" translates as "I hope you are well!" Richard

Thanks for that, Richard, I was wondering ! Sorry Jeff. I should have done a translate for you. It is a variation of "How's it going or hope you are well" Not that I am fluent in Irish or anywhere near it, but I would recognise greetings on sight with an understanding of their meanings. I am also illiterate in English
