My thanks to all for the reports, photos and videos from last weekend. It was great to catch up with everyone again,to meet some new fans and enjoy two wonderful concerts. The special after concert meeting with Hayley was of course the icing on the cake and a bonus to my weekend in Cork.

Hello everyone! Sorry for my belated contribution to this thread! First of all, many thanks for all the beautiful reports and photos - it was a nice way of reliving the great concert of the 13th or to feel as if I had been there on the 14th! Many thanks to all the members I saw again at Cork for their generosity and kindness, it's always such a pleasure to spend time with you all! I had the great pleasure of not being on my own for most of the way (a first time for me, as I was leaving from England!), which made the whole process not only much more enjoyable but also less stressful. Put aside the fright of a first flight with Ryanair and, as Grant mentionned, the change of wheels just before boarding the plane (!!), we had quite an enjoyable journey to Cork. Many reports have already been written, so I won't go too much into details but I'd like to share that, not only was the concert absolutely fantastic, but Hayley's perfomance was also on a new level. She has gained much more confidence on stage and consequently her voice was more controlled, so she was all in emotions and in precision in her singing. Every song and note sounded just right. The highlight for me was, without a doubt, 'May It Be', one of my all time favourites. Hayley's performance was unforgettable and it was hard not to get emotional as all my memories from New Zealand rose up with every word. It was a bit disappointed not to meet Hayley afterwards but I totally understood that she had other obligations and I felt already lucky to have been able to attend the concert. Thankfully, I had a faithful messenger who kindly passed on my congratulations and thanks the next day - thank you for that I managed to take a few pictures, so here they are! Hayley was wearing a lovely ring next to her wedding ring - here's a close up of both And last but not least , I managed to quietly film each song she performed. I uploaded them on youtube and created a playlist, hope you like it! Live In Cork Juliette

Hello Juliette, Thank you for your lovely post, and especially for putting the whole Cork concert on YouTube. I just watched it - play all, full screen - tilted back in my chair for about 53 minutes of the most delightful entertainment. What a spectacular capture! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! BobS

OMG thank you Juliette for the wonderful videos. I loved Peace Shall Come and BOTW. Isn't technology great. I could select the videos I want to watch from my smartphone and watch them on my TV through my XBOX ONE console.

Oh, thank you so much, Juliette!! I was just starting to listen to Union Chapel videos to try to relive the concert a bit. As wonderful as I thought those were back then, for example, BOTW, actually seemed a bit lacking compared to what I heard live the other night! She sounded that much better! Amazing the difference a year or so makes! Your sound quality is pretty good, if a bit echoey, but that didn't affect it too much. I also realized she messed up the lyrics back then, too. She said "when pain is all around" in the first verse, when it's supposed to be "when friends just can't be found". However, I'm beginning to think I'm never going to be perfectly happy hearing her voice through these videos, because even these don't do her voice justice!! Having now experienced seeing her live has not only served to make me want to go to more concerts, but has increased my determination to help make other fans' dreams come true, so they can experience it and be blown away, just as I was.

Thank you Juliette for your report and photos. It was lovely to spend so much of Saturday in your company. I too was rather apprehensive about my first experience of Ryanair. I am thankful to have known nothing about the nosewheel incident until after we were safely back on the ground in Cork. I hope your journey back on Sunday was uneventful. I have to say that I found Cork airport a lot more relaxed than Stansted when waiting for the flight. As for your videos, the memories are still fresh enough in my mind after two concerts that I don't want to distort them with the 'facts' but I feel sure that I will be drawn to them before too long. Best wishes, John P.S. My train is scheduled to pass through Canterbury West at 13:51 tomorrow. If you are anywhere near the line, you can wave to me.

Thanks for the videos and photos Juliette. It is interesting to see how they compare to mine, being taken from 2 seats away with a later version of the same camera. The answer is they are quite similar. I has hoped the later camera might have had better sound, but it is pretty much the same. And we were not ideally situated for sound quality anyway. But they are still very good videos, and you have preserved the whole concert for posterity. Well done!

Thanks everyone for the great reports, videos, and photos. This helps make up for not being able to take videos and photos in Madison. Mine would not have been nearly this good anyway. BillR
