I saw that Ian Tilley posted on facebook that they were recording in British Grove Studios. The same studio where Hayley Sings Japanese Songs was recorded. So I would say it is safe bet that Hayley was recording the three Japanese songs to go on the 'best of'. I'm sure that if it was for a full album Hayley would (or at least ought to be) making a bit more of a fuss and they would be there for more than one day. Hello everyone This is interesting Vicki is a stylist. Best wishes Grant I think it's almost certain this may be for the videos for the Japanese Best Of. According to Ian Tilley's facebook, this video/shoot was done at Metropolis Studios in London. I've also made a post about the dress in the fashion thread here: www.hwi.proboards.com/post/162835/thread I'm prepared to bet that it is for the video for Hana Wa Saku -- song about blooms, so Hayley has been given a dress with flowers on it.  Let's see if I'm right. |

I wonder why no official mention of the Japan Best Of has been made yet? The tracklist is published, the album is available for pre-order, songs recorded and videos shot. Probably a number of members have already ordered their copies from CD Japan. Not really a 'secret' at all. But at least this time there's hope of fresh album artwork, unlike back when they were recycling all the Treasure photos. |

'Mysqueek' has also posted a different picture on Instagram and incidentally has commented that it is for 'the upcoming Japan tour'. http://instagram.com/p/kfI708Plhe So our theories (however blatantly obvious ) are confirmed. I wonder if this is just for video though? There are still plenty of unused photos from the Hushabye shoot that I reckon will be used for the actual art work. |

Hi all, I've made a post about Hayley's second video shoot outfit here: www.hwi.proboards.com/post/162860/threadI'm wondering whether Hayley may have done the whole shoot with Topshop outfits... Rose coloured tailored cuff joggers:   Drape pocket shirt:  It's harder to tell with basic trousers and a shirt, but I think they could well be a match. After all, if Hayley's stylist picked up the dress from Topshop, it would be easy to get the rest of the outfits there too. P.S I suspect this thread perhaps might be being read by certain people as when I went to see if Ian Tilley had posted anything more about the recording session, he had turned his public facebook page to private. Perhaps he didn't realise that it was public? Oops. A lot of producers/artists etc have their facebooks open to the public for promotion etc so I thought it would be okay to share the details he posted of the recording sessions. Oh well. |

Ha ha, yes, well... none of it looked 'private' or 'personal' if you know what I mean. But then again, I have plenty of friends that have completely public and open Facebooks with all sorts of crazy stuff splashed over them Often people aren't that aware of the Facebook privacy settings - because, of course, you have to go looking for a way to set it to private -- Facebook doesn't make it too easy for everyone |
