Yeah by the looks of it I think they just randomly googled lyrics in the last minute for the songs irrespective of artist which is why you got Simon and Garfunkel's lyrics for Scarborough fair and so on.

Yes, and remember that Ayaka sang it first (did she write it, too?), so they could even be using a translation of her lyrics, too. That may be the same reason other songs are wrong. They may have just googled Scarborough Fair and put whatever lyrics they found. I also remember how some of Hayley's songs on the lyrics websites had inaccurate lyrics, especially for She Moved through the Fair and Never Saw Blue. Instead of "a month ago I was alone" was written "among the gold.." I ended up figuring out the real lyrics just by listening closely, I think. As for SF and SMTTF, those are traditional songs that either have many different verses, or have different versions even. The version of SMTTF that Josh Groban sings on his latest album is the one that says "till our wedding day", nothing that implies that anyone died or is about to die. However, I much prefer the haunting lyrics and singing of Hayley's version, though Josh's vocals are wonderful in the song, too.

Oh, speaking of the song I Believe....

The World figure skating championships took place in Saitama, Japan a couple weeks ago. I watched the coverage on CBC, Canada's broadcast (I live close enough to Canada to get it, thank goodness). Well, during the gala after the competition was through, while a CBC reporter was interviewing a Canadian skater, guess what I heard in the background?? Yes!! I heard Hayley's I Believe!! However, I cannot find any skating performances to that song on youtube, and of course I didn't see it on TV either. So, I almost wonder if they were just playing the song during intermission or something. Being the seasoned skating competition attendee that I am (LOL), I know that during any break between skating performances, be it 2 minutes or 20, they always put music on. So it's very possible that this was the case. Either that, or maybe some local Japanese skaters did a routine to it that didn't make it onto CBC or youtube. Because the Japanese skaters who did well (and won, even) did not skate to it.

Just watched the DVD that comes with the Limited Edition. It is very beautiful.
Hayley is alive and well and better than ever. I'm convinced of it.

Played that album again tonight. I had forgotten what a great selection of tracks it is. A superb album to introduce someone to Hayley I think.

I was thinking it's a good one to use on a trip. A nice mixture of Hayley songs, and some my sister especially likes, such as Summer Rain. But I'll go with my mp3 player on my Wisconsin trip, not a CD.

Listened to this album while I was out driving by myself today- first time I've been on a long-ish journey alone, that was pretty scary- I think this album helped keep me calm when I got rather panicky when my Sat-Nav lost signal and I had no idea where I was! I think it's an ideal for an unexpectedly long trip haha.

My UCCL 9079 and 1171 versions arrived in Ireland on the 9th April 2014 but were detained by the postal services here in Ireland in conjunction with the Revenue services, they also opened and inspected the items and the required ransom was over €16 to have the hostages released.

I must have just checked the items and then put the box aside at the time I got them.

I watched the videos this morning,
It was certainly "the first time ever I saw her face" in the one with Ian Tilly,
wow ! that is just gorgeous, I would have remembered if I had ever seen that one before.

and there are a few songs on the Cd I am not familiar with, so I'm having a mini Hayley day here in Dublin, as if I just got a new album..

The 2nd and 3rd pages ofthe booklets are just perfect for an autograph,
hummmmmm.... wonder if Hayley is coming to the NCH in Dublin this year.
