Yes, I'm not sure I am keen on this sort of venue either, but I would go along to at least one (probably LG Arena Birmingham) to support Hayley and at least get to see her once this year. But I would certainly want to be sure that Hayley will be there. She is the only reason I would go and spend whatever it costs.

Well, I'd go anywhere I could to see Hayley. You guys, at least, have had the luxury of seeing Hayley numerous times. Rock concerts definitely are more likely to have people standing up. However, if he's singing broadway hits, would the same thing happen? I guess it might depend on which broadway hits he sings. I wonder what Hayley would sing?

Hey, yeah! Or, All I Ask of You with Jonathan or Paul?? It's nice that 2 guys that she's performed and/or recorded with before are both on the tour! I'm sure it'll be nice for her to see them again.

WOW, amazing! So if it's only two female vocalists, there's a 50/50 possibility for each song XD
I think Hayley will be singing Memory Somewhere over the rainbow The sound of music Tonight?? All I ask of you??
I dreamed a dream would be sung by Ruthie I'm almost sure....

Don't jump to conclusions yet! Ruthie Henshall has appeared in London's West End in Cats, Les Miserables and Chicago to name but a few so she is more than qualified to sing any of the suggested songs. Although officially a mezzo-soprano she can also sing to a high soprano! Martin

Here is some further (alarming) pricing detail: NIGHTS ON BROADWAY VIP PACKAGESVIP TICKETS - available for all venues: -Ticket within the first four rows of the venue -Receive a Nights On Broadway tour programme -Receive an official tour laminate -Tour souvenir gift Price for a VIP Ticket is £155 regional venues and £175 in London Top price tickets will cost £55 regionally and £65 in London and I assume will not be in the first four rows. There is also a "Meet and greet" package to include: - Ticket in the first four rows of the venue - Attend David’s soundcheck - Meet David Essex and take a photograph with him - Receive a Nights On Broadway tour programme - Receive an official souvenir Laminate Price for David Essex meet & greet is £225 regional venues and £265 in London. Of course, a "meet and greet" package with Hayley at the stage door will cost nothing!! Martin

Yes, I thought it might be quite steeply priced. Those places usually are. Not the best value if what you want is a Hayley concert. This is likely to be the most I have ever paid for a Hayley concert (I think the most I've paid is about 30 quid, and the least is free), and she is only a support act in this one. I suppose I ought to be there though. The more I think about it, the more surprised I am that the organisers expect to fill all those huge arenas at those prices. They might do it for pop music with current artists like Justin Bieber, but none of the artists on the bill currently have a high profile in the media. And I would think that most people that are interested in musical theatre will prefer to see the actual shows (which may well be cheaper - I saw Phantom in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago and I think it was about 30 quid) than a compilation like this. Does anybody know what sort of fanbase David Essex has these days?

I think I'm used to really quite expensive concert tickets in Australia. But I think that has a lot to do with transport costs for the concert to be held. If there's a stage, it'll have to be shipped here and all the performers usually have to do long haul flights.
Usually $100 to $150 is the going price. Paying $150 to see Josh Groban next weekend.
