Thanks for the update, Joe. Is there still a way to request songs? If so, I'd like to request Winter's Dream. I don't remember whether they've ever played that song or not. I just listened to it yesterday (among other WM songs). Hi Libby, I can certainly ask Becky to play Winter's Dream on Wednesday! Sorry...Becky cannot make it to the radio station...she is literally snowed in! It's her birthday as well. Not sure if next Wednesday's show will still contain all Christmas music!

That's too bad! But since Winter's Dream isn't necessarily Christmasy, she could play it next week anyway. Thanks for trying, Joe.

Hi all,
The presenter of the show, Becky Kiesel, has announced that the popular radio show will be coming to an end. She posted a statement, below...
Not sure as yet if it her personal decision, or the radio station's decision, to end the show; most likely the former.

Hi all! A new online radio station has been developed from the former show on KITC! www.radionomy.com/en/radio/cri-crossoverradiointernational-Inheriting boxed of CD's from retiring KITC presenter Becky Kiesel, Jonathan Estabrooks has begun "Classical Radio International", a 24-hour Classical crossover station hosted by the Radionomy online music service. But from Mondays at 7 PM EST in the USA, he will host a live, two-hour show.  https://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifuring this time, a Facebook post initiated by Jonathan will serve as a "chat", as was during the former show's norm. Jonathan himself has made quite a name for himself in the world of opera, orchestra and symphony and related fields... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Estabrooks Jonathan said" "Crossover Radio International" brings a unique blend of classical crossover, cinematic pop, popera and more from independent and signed artists in this growing genre. Join us each Monday beginning May 2, 2016 from 7-9pm EST for "Classical Crossover LIVE" or listen all day to the best of the genre." CRI's Facebook page... www.facebook.com/CrossoverRadioInternational/?ref=ts&fref=tsThe premiere show was wonderful...live interviews from Siobhán Owen and a few others. No Hayley, maybe next week! Here was the playlist: Classical Crossover LIVE - 5/2/2016 PLAYLIST Apocalypse - Jackie Evancho Game of Thrones - FORTE The World to Me - Tiffany Desrosiers My Homeland (Finlandia) - André Rieu Io credo - Micheal Castaldo Stabat Mater IXXI - Sasha & Shawna I Dreamed a Dream - Collabro Por Una Cabeza ft Jonathan Stavvy Antoine (Musician) - Jonathan Estabrooks Swag - Lindsey Stirling Roads - Chris Mann Music Allelujah - Jennifer Thomas All of the Stars - Jackie Evancho All I ask of You ft Kelly Clarkson - Josh Groban Champs-Élysées ft. No Hayley, you say? I see her name several times a day via their twitter page! Here's the most recent tweet: So, is this real, or is it a "bot"? I have not tried listening to find out. If it is real, they're playing nothing but Paradiso, and then Pokarekare Ana, and Time to Say Goodbye with Russell Watson. Paradiso and Pokare are great songs, but... did they lose the other CDs people sent them??

When I said "No Hayley" I meant during the live two-hour show Probably all the other time, it is just a random computer selected music choice. I had a quick peek at their website and Paradiso was just played! It lists the last 8 songs played...a good mix of Alfie Boe, Alessandra Paonessa, Mario Frangoulis etc. I have writen to the live show presenter Jonathan on HWI's behalf and he said he hoped to include Hayley in next week's live show. Also, catch the live show replay at 2 PM EDT on Wednesdays. Jonathan posted a photo of his "inheritance" from Becky:

Yes, CRI definitely plays Hayley several times daily. You can almost see the complete playlist by following the Twitter feed: twitter.com/CRI_broadcastRichard

Paradiso and Pokare are great songs, but... did they lose the other CDs people sent them?? I thought I would try this radio station today while at work. I heard Hayley twice between about 9:30am to 3pm. The songs were: La Califfa and What You Don't Know (Won't Hurt You). So they do have Odyssey in case your wondering. I also noticed they were only playing Josh Groban's Stages album, and I heard only one song from Sarah Brightman (In Paradisum). Kinda on the slim side for those two...

What You Never Know. It certainly never shows up on the twitter search (for Hayley's name). I know they HAVE the CDs, but whether they remember they do is the question. LOL It's always good to play the latest album of an artist (Stages for Josh). And Paradiso is at least a better choice than Hushabye.

Ok. Seems like our little radio station is struggling. If you have not seen Jonathan's post on facebook, then here is a link: linkBasically, the listener numbers have been steadily dropping, especially for the live show on Monday nights. If possible, I hope some will be able to tune in for the live show OR just tune in some time during the week to help keep the station's stats good. Was this a problem for KITC's CC show? I was not paying attention back then. Thanks!

But with Jonathan's live show, and indeed his station, Radionomy is ad-driven and looks for a large audience. I appreciate the interviews (Siobhán Owen was on last week) as well as the recent contests. I will try and listen to Jonathan's live show, as well as the automated station! www.radionomy.com/en/radio/cri-crossoverradiointernational-
