Whatever happened to Sarah Brightman's "Winter in July"? It went south for the summer. They've had snow in Australia and New Zealand this month. Richard

Richard That song really has nothing to do with winter, let alone Christmas. But, she has other nice songs on her Winter Symphony album. Also, there's the song Winterlight, which I have on a compilation album, but I don't know what album it was on before that (or if it was at all).

Becky played 'Time To Say Goodbye', that wonderful duet of Russel Watson with Hayley, on the August 12 show.
Also we heard Classical Reflection's 'Bring Him Home'.

Just a few minutes into the show and Becky played a song from our Kristyn Murphy Brownell - "The Green Fields of France" "The Green Fields of France" was a huge hit in Ireland in the late 1970s. A great anti-war song if ever there was one. I think every Irish person of that time knew the lyrics of the song, the kind of song that is sung at every family event in the wee small hours of the morning. I had hoped a certain New Zealand singer might have done a version of it for the National Concert Hall in Dublin, It would have had the audience eating out of her hand, as we would say here on the Emerald Isle.

Finally there are some Hayley songs on KITC's show! Last week we heard 'Summer Fly' Today's show was great ... Becky played 'I Knew I Loved You' (Deborah's Theme)!!! Also of interest...Becky played a song from Rachel Fabri, the newest member of All Angels....the song was 'May It Be' from Rachel's debut CD "Forever Yours". Plus, as mentioned on Classical Reflection's thread, 'Bring Him Home' was played.

Thanks for the update, Joe. Is there still a way to request songs? If so, I'd like to request Winter's Dream. I don't remember whether they've ever played that song or not. I just listened to it yesterday (among other WM songs).
