I found this information regarding the soundtrack. It looks like it'll be released on November 3rd of this year! Not too much longer to wait! It's even available for pre-order! Edit: I just pre-ordered the album  Care to share [the link where you ordered it]?  Yes, Nov. 3rd is the day the movie comes out in the UK as well, so that certainly makes sense. |

Thank you Taylor for the links to the Amazon sites! I think I will also wait to order...I prefer a tangible CD
Now, quite soon, this entire thread will be moved to our Other Albums sub-board, as we have a soundtrack release date and at least one confirmed Hayley track.

Funnily enough, given my long-time disapproval of music streaming sites like spotify, I won't really mind too much if it doesn't end up as a CD as long as Hayley is recognisably 'in it' and not just cooing a bit in th background. Yes a CD would be better because of the artwork but since I subscribed to Tidal HiFi streaming, I now listen to most of my music that way, including Hayley. It's not on Tidal yet, but at least it's on iTunes as a pre-release, which is something. Cheers, Dave |

"Cooing a bit in the background". Great way to describe the tidbit we heard the other day. LOL yes, those are my sentiments exactly (on whether it comes out on CD or not). I honestly think I might not even want it. One or two songs, I can download.
It's a sad thing, but the days of real soundtrack singing seems to be a thing of the past. Aside from Disney cartoons, it seems to have faded away with the end of the Tolkien era. Before that, even.

Thanks Jim! That was a really great video! The singing was excellent, and you got to see tons of the movie scenes! I'm really looking forward to it now. I wonder why they didn't list Stan as a singer? Oh well, but maybe this means that Hayley will have a song, too. I hope! |

Got some bad news, folks. Looks like cooing is all we're going to get. I definitely don't want this album now. Not going to spend my money on that. I asked about it on their Facebook page. Here's the exchange:  I still want to see the film, though. |
