Oh heck. We'll take what we can get. A big thanks to Libby who has been following this movie soundtrack for over five years.

I just don't have room for many more CDs right now until I do some renovations. LOL I still have room in the "Hayley box". Sadly, I thought I would have filled the empty slots way sooner than this. I wonder at their response. "Sadly not". Were they sad, meaning perhaps that the composer decided to change things? Or, Hayley just didn't have time after all? Or did they say sadly just because they realized I might be sad about it? Oh well. All this waiting for nothing?

I'd like to add my thanks too Libby. I know you have done a lot of work following this and trying to dig out information from the scraps that we had heard. In the end though it is like finding a meat pie with no meat! Such a pity.

Sent from my SM-G900I using proboards I look forward to hearing about it, from what I have seen of the trailers it looks good, if we have the added bonus of knowing Hayley is on the soundtrack then all the better..

There have been good reviews of the movie. They posted a screen shot of a popular UK magazine that gave it a great review.

This soundtrack is now available at uncompressed CD quality on Tidal streaming. I am listening to it.

A quick add-on to my last post. After listening to this soundtrack the whole way through, I honestly don’t think that Hayley appears anywhere on this release. I believe that a different singer does the backing vocals. If any of you have listened to the soundtrack, what are your thoughts?

If this is the case, why on earth do they still list her as the "vocalist" on the IMDB page?? Granted, it was updated back in January... And I'd like to know what happened since she clearly must have been asked to be on the soundtrack. Something must have happened since January?
You know, vocalists for movies just aren't a thing anymore. What's the last movie you watched that had a great original theme song by a singer? James Bond, or something? And was it even great? LOL

If any of you have listened to the soundtrack, what are your thoughts? -Taylor I agree, but I didn't want to be the first person to post that! The cooing I heard on a few of the tracks is not to my old ears recognisably Hayley but I suppose they could have electronically changed it a bit, many things are possible these days! As for 'better than CD' well I have a 'better than CD' sound system and have played or streamed quite a few tracks in 24/96 or 192 but I have yet to hear any difference when originating from the same master - I think the differences are that sometimes, more effort is put into hi-res masters or remasters than standard CD masters and then, the difference can show. But as I can't hear anything above 10kHz these days, I am unlikely ever to hear it! Cheers, Dave

I've listened to the whole soundtrack and it would seem only 1 or 2 tracks feature Hayley. Clouds on the Mountain...it sounds very much like Hayley. South Island Plains...there are two spots in the song with vocals, and only the first part sounds like it could be Hayley but I'm not 100% sure. I still really like the soundtrack, even without Hayley.
