Hi

I really enjoyed this concert, although there did not appear to be as many performances this year. I did not arrive until 7:30pm and the only member I met was Richard going through the underground passage from the Tube station.I was disappointed that John Williams did not attend in person to collect his award. He also did not state on video why he could not attend!

The Awards are broadcast on ITV1 Sunday 7th October at 10:20pm.

Hi everyone,

I've just enjoyed watching the Classic BRIT Awards again, this time broadcast in ITV this evening. As I suspected, close-ups of Hayley in the audience were shown several times during the broadcast, not only HWI cameramen love taking her picture, she is so photogenic!

They even showed a very nice shot of Hayley and her mum Jill during the credits at the end of the broadcast, here it is!



Glad they fixed the technical glitch on Nicola Benedetti's beautiful performance of Schindler's List.

I was very impressed with the performance of the title song from Phantom of the Opera this evening - again of course, because it literally blew you away at the actual concert. The deep bass and final "sing - sing..." through big speakers almost blew my windows out too, as I had it on rather loud!

There are plenty of versions out there but it's hard to find a better one than this (Sierra Boggess sung Wishing You were Here Again, followed by her and Ramin Karimloo doing Phantom). Anyone want it uploaded?
