Yes thanks to all! And I like Hayley going back to brown. It suits her. Not that blonde didn't, but I just really like brunettes. Anybody know how long it's been? -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Simba, while I understand about the cleavage a bit, I don't agree that it's any "worse" than usual. Check out her dress from 2004. Not so modest there, either. Also, see the backstage photos from Buxton 2008. But with these dresses, it isn't presented in a lewd or distasteful way. The style of the dress is still very elegant, and her hair looks fabulous! The blue one from 2004 is very sparkly and gorgeous otherwise, as well. Obviously her dad let her go out like that! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBTW, Jillian, check out more photos at Zimbio, also a few more at Contact Music. I'm running so late for bed right now, I just don't have time, and I already posted them to the official forum. So you can have another turn! I must go to bed!

Everyone is being so polite and reserved about this, but I'll come right out and say what I think the rest of the world is thinking: Andre WHO? ? I can't name one piece of music, not a single note of a single tune by him. Hayley on the other hand has moved the music world again and again with brilliant vocals and awesome albums. Hi Steve Well, he has sold over 30 million albums and dvds and extensively toured all the major continents including North America! Martin

You all know that I love Hayley to bits, but I have to stick my neck out here and say that I think Andre Rieu is great. What he's done for classic music, especially in Australia, has been beyond impressive. He's getting classical albums to number 1 in Australia, a country where classical music almost never charts on the mainstream. Andre Rieu's fanbase across the world is just beyond massive. But Andre has got people listening to classical music when they never would have otherwise. This then acts as gateway to other artists. People are open to this kind of music and then start looking further. The more time he gets people standing at the classical music shelves at the CD stores the better, in my opinion. Of course Hayley deserves an award, but Andre's not undeserving in my opinion. I agree Jillian I think Andre has done an exceptional amount for classical music and has a massive fanbase as a result. I think it would be good for Hayley to join him at least for part of his tours, probably singing Dreaming of New Zealand, that way I think she would get more recognition too. It would have been great for Hayley to have won an award but hopefully she will one day. Thanks everyone for the photos- Hayley looks stunning as usual I love that green dress it really suits her and it's good to see Jill there too. best wises Sing

My personal view on her hairstyle is that it was glorious. A style for an occasion, not everyday practical wear, certainly. What a statement!
As for the dress, it was very warm in the Albert Hall as she knows full well and was appropriately lightweight. In terms of adornment, she has the figure and she dresses appropriately for it. A beautiful statuesque figure.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the photos, this is great coverage! Please try to mention/link to the photo sources, unless it's obvious from postmarks, comments etc. (most of them so far are OK). I've been sorting through a few more of my photos today and so they are all together, have uploaded them all (including the four I already posted here) to the HWI website for the moment by tacking them onto the news page here, just scroll down. www.hayley-westenra-international.com/content/classic-brit-awards-2012-paradiso-nominatedMost of them are 'click to enlarge' especially the 'Sing' photo at the end, which is 'click to go massive'! I'll post the missing ones here this evening when I next have some spare time. We may need a separate gallery when our 'missing' photographer(s) reappear from distant lands! Cheers, Dave

Hayley's hairstyle here is a complete, classy knockout!! WOW! And the lovely dress is simply fantastic. I agree that the dress is quite tasteful. I think Americans are one of the last countries to swing over to more liberal attitudes that many European nations already have toward one's mode of dress. Hayley is a lovely, curvaceous young woman and there is no need to hide or disguise this. She is certainly more tasteful than many "pop divas" I could name: Brittney S. , Christina A., Katy P. , Madonna ....etc. And Hayley is certainly more talented than any of the above mentioned- eh?

Hi everyone, Right, here are some of the extra photos I posted on the HWI website (and a couple that are not). First, an experimental 5 photo zoom sequence I took of the finale "Sing", starting with a fisheye view and ending with a close-up of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gary Barlow, on piano and keyboards respectively. Hayley is in the first two photos and her head can be seen in the second, by the sharp-eyed, immediately below the furthest-right of the row of lights just below the stage (below where the next light would be), and level with (to the right of) the bar on the orchestra conductor's stand. About three heads to the right. Sometimes, I like to play. Cheers, Dave
