If you look at the comments on youtube, you'll see that I'm not the only one who doesn't get much emotion from Rhydian. One says, "Hayley shows so much more emotion than Rhydian". And they are exactly right. Hayley shows strong emotion through the whole thing, while Rhydian shows it very mildly every so often. That's probably the reason I initially didn't notice any from him. I think also it's because I got that impression from the very beginnning of the performance, but also because I had noticed that before in another performance I saw of his, just him.
