Are you sure they don't get the channel in NZ? I thought somebody recorded a Wales program from Australia once... Well, maybe she has other things to attend to in London before she returns to NZ.

Posted this in the other thread as well but FWIW, I remember reading in one of the many articles that rehearsals start the 13th so it's probably NZ.

Judging by the rest of the programme, I thought they might be going to make Hayley sing in Welsh. Thankfully though, we just had a beautiful performance of 'Whispers in a Dream'. But she managed a Welsh 'Thank you'. Hayley's other solo was 'Profumo di Limone'. I hope somebody managed to record Hayley's duet with Rhydian. 'Vivo per Lei'? (thank you, Martin ). That's definitely worth watching again.

Well, I ducked out of our quiz night at church to watch it. Glad I did, thoroughly enjoyable. Hayley sang "Whispers" and "Lemon", and the duet "Vivo per Lei" with Rhydian was wonderful. I would have enjoyed this show even without Hayley, Rhydian is some singer. And my recording software didn't record it, so you'll have to wait for Dave, who is far more reliable than me. Couldn't understand a word of most of it (it is a Welsh language TV station) but Rhydian did do a short interview with Hayley in English. You have a treat coming when Dave uploads his recordings, particularly the duet. Not much fashion for the fashion fans I'm afraid, Hayley was in jeans I think, but a Rhydian fan I was exchanging tweets with said she had "legs to die for". It is worth watching the whole thing. Charlie Lovell-Jones, what a fantastically talented violinist, and only 12 years old. You can watch it at www.s4c.co.uk/clic/e_level2.shtml?programme_id=453205636Martin D

Hello Martin D and everyone, Naturally, I have processed and uploaded Vivo Per Lei first. I was excited that at last, Hayley did this on TV again - and it is very, very good - quite close to Hayley's original with Andrea Bocelli. Rhydian is a very good singer and made a first class duet partner for Hayley. I will make Whispers and Profumo available later - they are good. But Vivo Per Lei is something else. Vivo Per Lei - Rhydian and Hayley WestenraI have embedded the same video here on the HWI website: www.hayley-westenra-international.com/content/hayley-sings-rhydian-tv-show-videos... and will add the other two songs to that page too, when I have done them. Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave Fabulous duet! I'm not a Rhydian fan but I did enjoy this immensely. Loved Hayley's outfit too - thought she looked amazing. Legs to die for? Oh yeah! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Not much fashion for the fashion fans I'm afraid, Hayley was in jeans I think A lot you know, Martin. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHayley's outift was certainly fashionable. Dresses aren't the only articles of clothing that count for fashion. And I thought she was wearing leggings. If they are jeans, they might be those black "leather" ones she's worn. It was hard to tell. I also like the top she was wearing very much. It looks like the one she wore with that black skirt on Loose Women. She wore a lot of tops with that skirt, all in one day, even! Great performance, and I agree with Grant. Not a big fan of Rhydian. He has a good voice technically, but he's so stiff and unemotional, and his voice has a hardness to it, so I much prefer Andrea singing it with Hayely.

Great performance, and I agree with Grant. Not a big fan of Rhydian. He has a good voice technically, but he's so stiff and unemotional, and his voice has a hardness to it, so I much prefer Andrea singing it with Hayely. It would be nice if for once when Hayley duets with Rhydian, that her fans do not get so negative about him. Like it or not, Rhydian and Hayley are very good friends so it would be nice for her fans to respect that. If you think Rhydian is stiff and unemotional, have you ever seen anyone performing Music Of The Night better than he did at Hyde Park? I like Rhydian and Hayley and thought they both have superb chemistry when performing together. Pity you couldn't see it but Rhydian is packed with emotions when performing. Just my two cents...

But birdofparadise, it's silly to think that everyone must think the way you do. All of us have different opinions, what's good to you may not be so to others, and it'd be nice if you respect their opinions too. And it's wonderful that you like his performances much. However I agree with Libby as well, I feel there's no one else on this planet who could be a more perfect duet partner than Bocelli (my fav. male singer), Purest voices from both sides together. BUT Hayley's performance was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! 4:03 Someone "tooooooo" be(live?) for, magical! Enjoyed it much! Is it just me, or the recording could have used more reverb? Sounded quite raw...
