If I understand the chart correctly France doesn't need to play against the All Blacks in the Quarter Finals if they win today. Not exactly, Thomas. Oops, my mistake! So Good Luck then for the quarter finals. Seems to be difficult for France now. Thomas

Hi Thomas, Thanks for your support, although I know you will be secretly supporting the All Blacks France won against Georgia today -rather easily - but it wasn't enough. Oh well, so be it. Stephany

Thank you Richard and Graeme. I find it ironic to know that although my country is organizing the Rugby World Cup, we're going to play our quarter final in Wales. Contrary to what Hayley's Dad said in a recent interview, there will be no 'home turf' element for France. It'll be a great match, though. I'm just hoping that our team will show at least some 'resistance' to the All Blacks. The French press is not very optimistic - they say it would be a miracle if we win against NZ. Stephany

Congratulations also Stephany on 3000 posts. Let's hope that France are between the posts next Saturday. Whilst NZ are clear favourites to win I think that playing in Wales will be to France's advantage as there will be less pressure than playing at home. Martin

Thank you Grant ! Now I wonder why I can't help smiling when I listen to Hayley's Laschia Chio Pianga? Martin, in a sense I agree with you. For the first match against Argentina, the pressure was enormous at the Stade de France. Our players are now seen as 'outsiders' and hopefully it's for the best. Stephany

Oui , C'est bon , congra , Madame ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frankly , I am completely swept off my feet . It is pretty horrifying to me that Hayley , a total angel and a gracious and gentle young lady , will show any interest in RUGBY . RUGBY !? That is such a brutal , violent and gruesome sport ! It is like hearing that Audrey Hepburn actually supports the WWF . ( NOT the World Wild Fund , you know that )

Hayley was there for one of the last confrontations between France & New Zealand. It was on November 18, 2006 and I'm ashamed to say that France lost 11-23 against the All Blacks. I don't see why it would be different this time - although everything can happen during a World Cup! There is a video with a different angle here. You can see the players entering the Stade de France and then the French speaker announces: Mesdames & Messieurs, to the honor of the New Zealand team, the NZ anthem will be sang 'a capella' by Mademoiselle Hayley Westenra. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany
