Well-done England. This game was better compared to their previous matches. However, they still need to improve if they want to hope against the Australians. Having said that, it's the same for France. We don't play very play at the moment. New Zealand is going to crush us in quarter final. If we qualify, that is. Stephany

Tomorrow's match between England & Tonga will be quite interesting. My fingers are crossed for our English members' team Stephany Crossing your fingers worked Stephany ! England 36 Tonga 20. Phew ! What a relief! Now onto Marseille and a rematch of the 2003 final with Australia. I'm not predicting that one and my money is staying firmly in my pocket !!

Hi Rugby Fans. I'm not normally a rugby fan but last night I watched the Wallabies play Canada. Ref was a bit annoying. I thought we all might benefit from these scheme charts....I have no idea what's going on without them. Marked in red is the game I watched last night. Very absorbing overall with patches of brilliance towards the end. The difference in score making ability between the teams is utterly amazing. Graeme PS I still would not be game to predict the outcome but I can certainly say that the Allblacks morale is 100%. I bet Hayley's been singing to them disguised as the tea lady.

Oh dear - you generally have to wake up very early if you want to watch the games! I suspect it will be the same for me for the Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand. Well-done to Scotland for reaching the quarter-finals yesterday evening. It wasn't a great match but they got there eventually. Now I need to find a great café where they broadcast France-Georgia this afternoon. Not easy in Manchester where football (soccer) is everything! Stephany

Hi Graemek In reply to your opening paragraph
I entirely agree and thank you for your time and effort on the chart. It has quickened my own usually 'dead' interest. Very informative. Thank you for your effort.
I guess the answer is, 'if Hayley's interested, I'm interested!' Peter S.

Thank you Graeme for the chart. That make things easier especially here in Germany where you hardly hear anything about rugby. Yesterday I found out that there is even a German rugby team but they unfortuneately missed the qualifying for the World Championship. Maybe next time...? Bonne chance, France! Oh, ... Good luck! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIf I understand the chart correctly France doesn't need to play against the All Blacks in the Quarter Finals if they win today. If that isn't a reason to win... Thomas

If I understand the chart correctly France doesn't need to play against the All Blacks in the Quarter Finals if they win today. Not exactly, Thomas. If France wins againts Georgia, we will be qualified for the quarter finals BUT we won't necessarily avoid the All Blacks. It depends on the results of the other match Ireland-Argentina. If Ireland wins, we are against Scotland in quarter final (in Paris). If Ireland lose, we are against New Zealand in quarter final (in Cardiff). So everyone will be cheering up for the Irish. Not only we would avoid the All Blacks, but on top of that we would play our quarter final in France. Stephany

If Ireland lose, we are against New Zealand in quarter final (in Cardiff). Stephany Good luck Stephany. I think you need it.Next Saturday I shall start the first half with a bottle Southbank Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (my NZ favourite) and then in the second half, a bottle of La Clape Chateau Rouquette sur Mer (my French favourite). Not taking sides, always the unbiased referee. May the best wine win.

Oh dear, it's going to be France-New Zealand on Saturday, October 6th. Thanks for the support Drew, I also think we need some luck. It's going to be very, very difficult. For once - I won't be supporting the Blacks. My apologize to Hayley, Belinda and all our Kiwi members! Stephany
