SI will be recording the show on DVD, but I just can't guarantee anything more than that. If nobody else can get it, I'll definitely try, but I will definitely need some help! And I won't have much time to try until Tuesday. Hi Libby, Many thanks for your offer to help with this and I'll let you know if I do need a copy of your DVD of the concert. I do have a good source which hopefully will work well but if anything goes wrong, I'll let you know, so please do keep your copy too! Cheers, Dave

Hayley sends her greetings. She will be singing "Pie Jesu" from Andrew Lloyd Weber's Requiem.

Yes, that will be beautiful. But nothing very unique. I still kind of wish it was For the Fallen, since I liked it so much before, and since it seems to fit with the holiday better. But at least this song is somewhat recognizable. And for a song like Pie Jesu, I hope she doesn't just wear that little red dress. I like it, but not for Pie Jesu. I can't wait until tomorrow evening!!

Pie Jesu fits the occasion perfectly, although this year many Americans will be reminded of Jackie Evancho's recent success with this song which she performed on many shows.

Thanks for the photographs, Jillian! I've posted a link on our Facebook page, and I've also shared Libby's link about the performers. Richard

Well, I have to talk fast, but suffice it to say that I met up with Tim by the Capitol when Hayley was going to rehearse. We got her attention while she was rehearsing through use of the same banner from 2008.
She waved and subsequently came over to us to say hello, although she said she didn't have much time. She signed a few things and took a few pictures. Pictures and more details to follow, although I didn't do too well with he performance during the show itself, due to the low lighting conditions.

Thanks very much to Fusilier and to Tim for your work down in DC.
You gentlemen are representing both HWI and America to Hayley and that is much appreciated.
Enjoy the show tonight...stay cool!
Best wishes, Joe
