It would seem when it comes to dress-sense Ms Wright is maintaining the standard we have come to expect judging from this photo a friend tweeted from last Sunday's concert in Ipswich !

For those interested, Laura's manager, Kathryn Nash, has left agency Eccentric (formerly Bedlam) to set up her own company "Nash". The good news is that she has taken Laura with her. Good luck Kathryn. Martin Laura is no longer with Nash Artist Management and is now managed by Rocket Music who for those who don't know is owned by Elton John. Artists on its books include Ed Sheeran and Sophie Ellis-Bextor (as well as Elton). This is a significant move by Laura and should raise her profile even higher. It's a pity that Hayley could not repeat something similar. Martin

While Hayley has gone back to Air Studios Laura has been at Abbey Road and met some "VIPs". A BBC news report showed her recording a song but I won't post a link to it as it contains matters of political controversy, discussion of which is quite rightly banned on this forum. I will say however that I think it's unwise for singers like Laura (or other celebs for that matter) to involve themselves in political campaigns since it risks alienating at least half of her fans. An error of judgement then and thinking back to her last album not her first either.

With Laura otherwise engaged, the National Anthem at yesterday's FA Cup Final was sung by Karen Harding.......or rather it wasn't !
Camilla tweeted to say she always has "sound problems" at Wembley. Maybe the noise of the crowd was so loud the poor girl just didn't hear the band ?

Yes, I saw that. I feel sorry for the poor girl. Couldn't they have done something to make sure she heard the cue?

The video has been removed by the user, but perhaps that's just as well. Richard

Laura sang the anthem at yesterday's Grand National. Laura is a fine singer but a poor tipster. She picked the only horse with a woman rider and it came last ! (Mine was second as usual. )
