I was doing a few full days in my workshop this week,
I have a collection of cds with no index cards,
amateur recordings from various places,
The sound system in my workshop is capable of filling a small dance hall and sometimes I crank it up,
A Bose 1800 power amplifier fed directly from the cd player without tone controls and JBL speakers, It takes no prisoners.
Some Hayley tracks came on and I played them over and over trying to remember where they came from,
It sounded like a very intimate venue and Hayley's voice was Pure magical, I mean extra special and I wondered why ?
When I checked out the origins of songs I discovered they were from this concert at Venue Cymru.
Some of you might like to go back through this thread and find some of these recordings,

they really are special, well Hayley was special on that night,
But Hayley was very close to the recorders microphones which are extremely directional
and the PA system speakers were well away from the mics and hardly audible.
So the sound on the recordings is first hand Hayley, not through the Mic / amplifier / speakers of the PA system.
Don't just play them on your laptop, Don't MP3 them, burn them to a disc and play them on a decent sound system and listen to the magic.
