Well both are common, choir collectively spoken of would take the pronoun 'it', ofcourse if you're talking about the members of the choir it's they, same applies for staff, team, and such XD
But this is wonderful news can't wait to hear hayley with the choir! I love the title, "Hayley to wow audience" haha, so happy to see hayley getting recognized better and better!

Hi everyone.
Difficult to assess this one as so many seats allocated to Choir availability so last minute booking may be an option but risky.
Think I will make this the weekend away I had in mind for King's Lynn but for which I tried to book too late.

Hi everyone.
My ticket has arrived and so has confirmation of my hotel booking. Anyone travelling and not yet hotel booked need to be wary. Little accommodation close to the venue is available. I've had to go to the south parade but if it is a pleasant night it will be a pleasant walk along the seashore. In any case, anywhere in Llandudno is pleasant.

Inflating the dingy, paddles at the ready,
pint glass for bailing out, must drink the Guinness first though.

Whatever floats your boat, Paul! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBy the way, you live considerably closer to Llandudno than I do, down here in deepest darkest Hampshire (200 miles by crow, 463 miles by sea! Have a great time, you and all. Dave

I hope everyone enjoys the show.
Llandudno looks a nice spot, as does Rhyl. I hope to do some exploring around North Wales sometime. One place I've got to visit is the village of Portmeirion. It looks fantastic.

Once again I can't make a UK Hayley concert. But I'm sure it will be fantastic - have a great time everyone who will be there. I too will be there in spirit. Yes, I love Llandudno. It is bound to be fantastic, an evening you will never forget in the company of the world's finest singer. So enjoy!
I look forward to the reports and photos

To all who are going to this concert, have a great time! Looking forward to hearing your reports. Matt Thank you Matt. I'm already here! Weather augurs reasonably well. Breakfast superb. I guess Hayley is already in the wagon if she is coming up from London, M5/M6/A55 about 4.5hours plus a coffee/lunch stop. Faryl is on here in November with another choral celebration. Peter S,

Hi everyone. The journey is probably one best done by rail and it will be interesting to learn of Grant's experience. I may make the effort to meet him at the station. I am currently sitting in the lounge of my hotel (only location for the wifi but it is BT business wifi so should be safe and reliable), a couple of doors up from Wetherspoons where we may eat, although I have one or two alternatives to suggest when we gather, having perambulated somewhat yesterday evening and ending up in a rather amateurish dive where I enjoyed a surprisingly excellent piece of turkey and a very good price... and so to bed. This morning I was awake before the seagulls screamed at me. I tend to be an early awakener these days, although NOT an early riser and I think the seagulls were screaming at the world in general rather than me specifically! Its one of those aspects why I like to be beside the sea! Surprisingly large birds seagulls when you encounter them sauntering down the promenade, seemingly despising your presence! Their attitude is almost, "get out of my way man" and you hesitate to argue. The run in yesterday was superb. Initially horrific on the M1 as the widening process is exceedingly lengthy and everything restricted to 50. However, in the main the traffic held to 50 except for a couple of incidents where a trailered caravan had lost its wheel and further on a van had actually lost its back wheel! How on earth do such things happen? To cover contingencies I had decided to spend on three new tyres as I didn't relish having a puncture on a Welsh mountainside. The treads had another 5,000 miles on them but they were 5 years old and the rubber on the walls was showing serious ageing. Possibly aided by this speed and the fact I went straight on to the motorway having filled my tank, so everything had been zeroed down, I found I was still gaining on 58.3 average miles to the gallon when necessity caused me to pull over. That brought my average down sharply but maintained 50 mpg throughout my journey, which I didn't think was too bad! The last stretch, along the revamped A55 was superb. Almost motorway status the traffic flowed superbly with gorgeous scenes. The trees showing the yellow prior to richer colours but mostly showing a predominance of lush green, as did the grass and later superb views of the coastline. The weather was indicative of a late summer evening around 7 in the evening. In fact it was around 4 on an autumnal day. The light was fantastic, in which I revelled with my camera when I had settled in. Llandudno is without doubt a very lovely place and I am sure Hayley will be here again so for those who think it may be a long haul for a concert, make it a long weekend. It is worth it. Come by train and there is much to keep you occupied without missing the use of a car. If you come by car the same applies but also additional surrounding areas. Tomorrow I will look around Chester--renowned for its timber-framed first floor level walkways and then I will visit Blackpool to see the refurbished tower and look at the lights. Some may think that is not my 'cup of tea' but I am unashamed of acknowledging that there is a 'kiss me quick' aspect to my character! So all augurs well for tonight. The sun is shining now and so it should be a good journey up for Hayley and her gang. Apart from needing to buy some toothpaste--I always forget something on coming away. Faryl is here in a month or so (5/6th November). Tickets are available but I didn't check tickets for tonight. I'm guessing there won't be any. The hotels are full. YES! If you are thinking of coming to Llandudno, get your hotel sorted early they all seem to be full and this is something I noted a few weeks back when I booked and was feeling rather desperate at getting in somewhere. Had an interesting chat with the couple on the table next to me at breakfast, Alan and Marie (pronounced the English way). She was enraptured with Hayley like us all. Her encounter was hearing her on Radio Nottingham when she sang 'off the cuff'. Unfortunately they couldn't manage the show and are desperate for Hayley to come back. She was most disappointed to learn of Hayley being there tonight as they had been staying since last Sunday and were going home today and couldn't stay over. They asked me, if I had a chance to talk with Hayley, to pass on their good wishes and to say they hope she'll manage Nottingham again soon. That's it for now folks. Peter S.
