I don't see why anything has to be exclusive to this forum. It sounds like fans who aren't members of this forum are second class somehow, and don't deserve it because they aren't special enough. Hello again Libby! I'm sure Jillian didn't mean it that way, and anyway, nothing in the forum is exclusive to members, all the posts can be read and everything can be viewed or downloaded by all our 500+ 'guest' visitors each day (unlike several other forums that I visit from time to time). It would be nice if more of them would join as members and it's good if they decide to visit as guests more often (which is I suspect what Jillian meant), but all they lose by not joining or logging in as members is the ability to post messages. As for exclusivity, we never have and never will upload everything posted by members (including me) onto YouTube, our website, or other public places (including photos) so from that point of view, there will always be more to see in the forum than (probably) anywhere else. That's the beauty of forums, they will always beat more formal sources like standard websites, at least for speed and variety of material. Dave

Especially since I wasn't referring to anything Jillian said.

Especially since I wasn't referring to anything Jillian said. Jillian said: You said, three posts later: If you don't specify what you are referring to, people are going to make reasonable assumptions about what you were referring to, as I did. Yes Richard said it too, but Jillian started the ball rolling. And if you make critical comments about the forum or HWI in general and the way we do things, complete in some cases with 'roll eyes' smileys, you should expect a response, and you've had one. If you think anything needs changing, that's fine and there is a Suggestions board you can use, otherwise, please respond by private message as we now need to get back onto the main topic here. Dave

I don't mean to have caused so much trouble, but you asked our opinion.

These are the 'We Will Remember Them' launch shoes: Cheers, Jillian That does seem to be the pair she wore to this BBC event, though the constantly changing lighting on the stage make definitive identification impossible. On a side note, women's sense of balance never cease to amaze me. I can't imagine myself standing on shoes like those without toppling over, let alone walking on them. I have linked to this thread and the HWI website from the Youtube video if anyone wants to find out more, but the question remains, is the longer version so much better that we now need both versions up on Youtube? That would split the views and lower them in the Youtube search rankings. Dave I believe the one currently in YT is OK, yes the intro is nice but it's not essential to the performance. Going forward, however, I'd suggest to include intros as long as they're not unnecessarily long. At the risk of upsetting the fashion followers on this forum, may I venture to suggest if Hayley wears heels this high she's going to get bunions when she gets older ?! (Fashionphobe returns to his bunker and awaits inevitable onslaught !)

Jeff, probably only if she wore them all day. She probably wasn't wearing them for very long.

Hi Jeff. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Actually, you're right - if you continually wear shoes like that, you will cause yourself foot problems - note Victoria Beckham. But from the photos I've seen, Hayley wears fairly comfortable shoes and boots most of the time and then slips into the killer heels when it's time to impress! I have a pair of shoes that height... only I've been too scared to wear them out of the house! :rollin Afraid that I'm going to break my ankle or something... Cheers, Jillian

Just back from hols, so missed the excitement. Love the Songbird vid - thanks for posting it Dave. I think that's as good a rendition as I have ever heard.
Do you have the other songs as well Dave? I would love to see/hear Danny Boy.

When the iPlayer version disappears, I'll post the songs (which I have saved) as a file. Cheers, Dave

Well done Dave! Have you included Hayley's interview with the songs? I really enjoyed that too. Richard

Yes, I have played the relevant bits of the iPlayer recording. It will be nice to download them when you have sorted them out Dave. I just wondered how much video was broadcast. Was it just Songbird, or is there more.
