Hello everyone Thoroughly enjoyed the three songs which were a great choice for the occasion and venue with so many young people in the audience.
Martin Couldn't agree more Martin - a great set and, despite being between Westlife and Jedward, much appreciated by the largely young 7/8000 strong audience. I loved Hayley's A capella "Danny Boy" particularly the new ending. The interview was fun too and Hayley seemed to have enjoyed the whole experience. Best wishes Grant

Hi everyone, The BBC1 Northern Ireland highlights show this evening played Hayley's performance of Songbird. It is my personal favourite of the three songs, so of course, I am delighted. Would have liked Danny Boy too but you can't have it all, only one song by each act was played. I have uploaded it to our Youtube channel. Songbird by Hayley at Odyssey Arena All credit to BBC Children In Need - you can donate here at the BBC Cheers, Dave

WOW, thanks for that, Dave!!! Such a lovely, lovely Hayley performing such a lovely song in such a lovely way!
And, indeed, Danny Boy was spectacular too.

Dear Dave, Thank-you very much for uploading to Youtube and making screencaps! It was a lovely performance and Hayley just looked great! Cheers, Jillian Hi Jillian, Thanks, and I see that it brings up your version as a suggestion (based on Drew's concert video) on the YT video page, so you may get quite a few extra 'hits' from it now! I didn't realise how many versions of Hayley singing Songbird there are already on Youtube but of course, if she does it on TV, we have to have it! Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave for your quick upload. I was very happy to watch it without doing a trick. Initially, I have accessed BBC but it said “Not available in your area”. Oh, come on! I almost was in a mind to let the BBC server to recognize me as an access within UK using a proxy server but it requires me time to find an appropriate one. Also it should be avoided if possible.
Her performance was great. In the past I considered Eva Cassidy's Songbird was my favorite but now I have to change my mind.
Best wishes. Maya

On Twitter when Hayley was wondering what she should sing, I told her she should sing something from Odyssey, since it was at the Odyssey Arena. She must've taken my advice. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt looks like she had her hair cut at the salon. It's still long, but it looks a little shorter than it was. I thought I detected some new earrings, and an outfit we haven't seen before, too.

Thanks for uploading the video, Dave! It was a superb performance by Hayley, and I also enjoyed the other songs and the interview that were broadcast on the radio. Her hair does look slightly shorter than before, but it still looks fantastic. Richard

Hi everyone, Thanks, no problem, but in view of a couple of excitable comments about the shoes on the Youtube video, I thought I should try and find a couple of enlargements for those of you who are into the fashion. The following are the best shots I could find, they are cropped from ultra-wide-angle shots of the whole stage area: The shoes! Who is going to be first to work out the height of the heels? As the video is blocked in Germany (they do this with many videos, sadly) I will post a (longer) version in the forum as soon as I can find a a spare half hour. Here's a reminder of the Youtube link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nATbSmfZVS0Dave

I read somewhere that Hayley is 5'5.75" tall. Using the ratio of floor to shoe bottom divided by heal to head height times Hayley's height, I get 5.2 inches or 134 mm. I'm surprised she didn't need oxygen. Bill
