EDIT by Dave: Video of Hayley's performance is now here: For The Fallen
The BBC are now reporting that Hayley will be involved in ths year's Festival of Remembrance, therefore, I will quote the relevant posts into this new thread. I don't suppose Hayley is a part of this year's festival, or wouldn't we have heard about it by now? Hi Libby,
I don't have the official answer yet but I am making enquiries.
However... On the BBC website, Radio 2 programmes for 13th November, Festival of Remembrance highlights, www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/radio/2010/wk46/sat.shtml Hayley is mentioned as being one of the voices taking part but it does not state in what capacity. As BBC TV broadcasts the same event (but details are not yet announced) it therefore seems entirely possible that we will both hear and see Hayley on radio/TV that day.
Well I certainly hope so, watch this space... if I get confirmation of this I will start a new thread for 2010.
Dave The Radio Times also mention Hayley on BBC 1 Excellent! Dave

Hello Libby and everybody! I think Hayley may be singing Karl Jenkins' setting of "For The Fallen", as featured on the 10th Anniversary Special Edition of "The Armed Man - A Mass For Peace". This is due to be given its world premiere performance at this year's Festival of Remembrance. Richard

Hello Richard, Libby and everyone!
I am afraid that further information about this year's Festival of Remembrance is currently embargoed and is expected to be announced to the press early next week.
But I have no reason to believe that the limited information published by Radio 2 on the BBC website and by Radio Times is incorrect.
Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone,
Bandana Management has confirmed Richard's earlier suspicions that Hayley will be performing "For The Fallen" by Karl Jenkins, at the Festival of Remembrance on this coming Saturday.
I will, of course, endeavour to record it and make the video available shortly thereafter.
Cheers, Dave

BobC was informed today by her management that she'll be appearing with Karl Jenkins. That makes sense; the song is on his album, after all.

Unfortunately we will be out at a concert on Saturday, so you have saved my life. If I can, I might try to record it myself too, but Sue might want to record something else at the same time and guess who wins!!! Martin D

I'm really looking forward to this since my two favourite singers will be there. The whole event will be a good antidote to Ann Widdecombe's "dance" earlier in the evening !
