Hi, I just wanted to say I enjoyed Hayley's concert, although as a Rhydian fan, I have to confess I went because he was singing. I loved Mary, Did You Know? especially and I also particularly enjoyed O Holy Night, Silent Night and the 15th Century song/lament? Sorry I'm not sure of its name. I was the one who recorded some of Rhydian's songs but I was unable to record their duet as security discovered me right at the start It would be lovely if someone was able to capture it at the Barbican, I'll live in hope. Thank you to Karsten for the lovely photos of Rhydian he was kind enough to send me, it was very kind of you. I hope those of you going to the Barbican have a safe trip. Enjoy Nicola, I know you will Just to touch on Jillian's post about Rhydian not using the band, I know he much prefers to sing accompanied by a band rather than backing tracks and I also know he only finished in the War of the Worlds tour the night before at Wembley and he had had a 7 hour battle through the snow to get to there, so it's more than likely there was no time for him to utilise the band. This post has been moved from the Barbican thread by Richard.

3/5? what planet were they on? Are they tone deaf? 10/5 for me!
And they don't even have a comment facility, or they would have heard from me.
I have been attending an average of about 20 concerts a year for the last 50 years. This covers a vast range of music, and many world class artists. This was a genuine contender for the title of the best I've ever been to.

Fingers crossed that Rhydian will have had time in London to do some rehearsing with the band for the new concert. I guess another point is that Stephanie from 'Raven' - the string quartet - was also sick that evening - another factor that may have hindered the band trying new things that night. I'm glad you enjoyed Hayley - it's nice when you get pleasantly suprised by things that you didn't think you would! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Was the lament 'Veni Veni Emmanuel'? Mary Did You Know is an old favourite of Hayley's - I believe she recorded it first when she was 14? Cheers, Jillian

Hi folks I have tried time and time again to try and upload some pictures to Photobucket, but for some reason its not responding. For those that are friends with me on Facebook, I have uploaded all the photos I took of this concert. If you aren't friends with me and are on Facebook, just type my name in, and my profile picture is a picture of a sunrise. Oh btw, if you do add me as a friend, leave me a message saying you are from this forum, as I may not know who you are! Be warned, there are quite a few pictures! Cheers, Ben

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any full length photos of Hayley's arrivals at any of the concerts?
Cheers, Jillian
