I also have a poor quality vieo of "All with You", which I had never heard performed live before. I might as well make it available for completeness. www.mediafire.com/?iccrk37eq01zsx0Martin D martin thanks for that and the other 2... what a perfect way to drift off to sleep; even if i have to save them on a flash drive and put them on my computer later [im on holiday and mom doesnt have the internet..] it was a little white, yes, but that seems pandemic for fan videos... i wonder if they set the lighting knowing it will have that effect. it must be frustrating to see her perfect on stage and have your camera see her as a silhouette. its an important service though as i, and no doubt other people wont have her singing those songs. robert

Hi Robert,
No it was my technique that was at fault. I should have zoomed in more, and possibly used spot metering instead of averaging. Hayley was bright against a much darker background.
But expecially with camera police around you have to guess, and you don't get a second chance. You can't even look at the LCD display whilst filming, you just have to point and hope.
And you have to keep the camera low to avoid being seen.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But you always get the sound.
And if you have something unique and beautiful, what do you do?

I have successfully downloaded your videos, Martin. I didn't have any pop-ups with All With You, amazingly. It seemed a little muffled at first, but otherwise it was nice. It's great to be able to hear her sing it live. She seemed to put extra emotion in it here.

Whoops, I spoke too soon - there was a pop-up. But it was just some news page, so nothing that bad. One difference between downloading it on IE and on Firefox; IE asks me if I want to just open it, or save it and then open or close it. On Firefox, it just opens it, and asks me what format I want to open it with. It didn't save the files, and I'm not sure if I could've if I'd wanted to. I'm glad I was able to save the Maori one, though, since it's not on WM. So, maybe it was worth the hassle after all.

Glad you got there Libby. I can only apologise for the quality, but at least you have made be feel it was worth uploading it.
"All with you" to my mind is so very Hayley. And from experience too, I'm sure she knows all about being away from her loved ones and missing them. So do I! I'm not surprised that Hayley sings it with feeling. Her beautiful vocalisation in the middle of this song is perhaps my favourite moment on the whole of Winter Magic.

Her rendition of the song Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas was equally as amazing. I've heard many versions all season long, so I've gotten really tired of it. However, I was very impressed with her delivery of the song. I've never heard it sung with such conviction and sincerity.
