Amazing photos, guys! Well done. I just have one question: are all of these photos taken with flashes??

Hi Dori, I can only speak for Karsten and I but ... None of the in-concert ones were taken using flash, We would not do that and at Birmingham they announced "No Flash Photography" Steve

As I am sure most people who have any serious experience of shooting concert pictures with 'reasonable' quality equipment will tell you, flash is not a good idea. Apart from the distraction to the performers (and this is noticeable in venues the size of Symphony Hall unless you are right up in 'the gods', just ask anyone who has been on stage), the effect of flash actually loses a lot of the atmosphere of the settings. Sadly, even after the announcement, there were a number of people using flash at Symphony Hall, which is unusual as the camera police are normally quite sharp there.

OK, I have to do it. This is an apalling video. The exposure is totally wrong, I can't possibly upload it to my Youtube channel, which I regard as my shop window for Hayley. I also was filming from a horrible angle, with the camera in my lap to avoid the rather enthusiastic camera police. I was looking up her nose it seems. The front of the stage got in the way. But despite this, it is such a stunning performance, and Te Harinui is a song I had never heard before, but it is just so beautiful (as are all maori songs when sung by Hayley). And this is a Maori carol you may not have heard. So I hope if you have the patience to download this, you will forgive my video indiscretions and just listen to Hayley's fabulous performance. This is one for the real fans, which is why I have linked to it here. Enjoy! www.mediafire.com/?flwaaqr4d36crqaMartin D

Hi Sing,
French? I didn't hear any French, and I think I know the language quite well.
But yes, feel free to use it.
And have a wonderful Christmas and New Year yourself.

I also have a poor quality vieo of "All with You", which I had never heard performed live before. I might as well make it available for completeness. www.mediafire.com/?iccrk37eq01zsx0Martin D

It's a lot of trouble, but might be worth it since neither of these songs can be found anywhere else.

Martin, I think Sing means the project he has to do for his French class, where he has to describe Hayley in so many words, and a bunch of photos, too.
