Hi Steve,
It is a simple play on words of course. I dont know that I find it jarring, but it probably is a slight indicator that the world in which Hayley's career is now occuring has changed, or at least is in the process of changing. The little gossip blurb posted elsewhere about West Side story is another small sign. It is not that her world is now a bad place - but it is also no longer the world of a child.

Hi everybody There was an article about Hayley & Celtic Woman in today's NZ Daily Post so here it is. Very positive comments about Hayley's association with the girls.

Hi Stephany, Thank you for the report from the NZ Daily Post. Maybe someone should tell them it is a little out of date. Even though it is today's issue, it speak of the North American tour as if it is yet to come. As we know, Hayley's involvement was concluded over a month ago! All comments are favourable though, so I'll let them off this time! Roger

Hi Roger, I think they probably published it now because the DVD has only just been released in New Zealand. You are entirely right though, they are definitely out of date. This article can lead to confusion. Stephany

Roger I think this is a problem of time release and too many intermediaries. Hayley is not in a positIon where she can control her media output nor can her management cope at that level with its current resources. Only megastars can do that. Consequently many people at different levels in different relationships between 'offical news', local deadlines, latest info on the editor's desk and direction of intended article, lead to this confusion. At megastar level you can control as firmly as a product launch, in fact that is what you are marketing, a distinct product, as opposed to 'another singer'. The nearest Hayley can get to this is either her CD launch or the launch of a tour that is her show.. In these situations there is central control that disseminates promotional material under a tightly controlled sequence of releases. Beyond that, her publicity is a show-based publicity, running in parallel with several other projects not all under her management's direct control. Arguably, these things should be centrally controllable but that demands a higher staff level than her income can, or should attempt, to support. For the time being, this confusion is regrettable but inevitable. Peter S.

Hi everyone, I read a few reviews of the final CW concert in Red Rocks and many said that it was a fabulous concert. The venue seems particularly gorgeous ( picture) and I now understand better why Hayley was disappointed not to perform there. Just as a reminder, this Red Rocks concert was previously scheduled in May with Hayley but it was postponed because of the weather! Chloe, Orla, Méav, Lisa and Mairead were all very moved and had tears in their eyes during the last songs. How sweet! Despite recent 'issues'with Celtic Woman's management, I think we can say a big 'bravo' to the girls - including Hayley -, the choir, musicians and everyone behind this fabulous show. ....and here is a link to a little story written by a fan who went to this last Red Rocks concert just to see Hayley and was puzzled not to see her there: My amazing evening at breathtaking! RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER. As you can see, she enjoyed the show immensely despite Hayley's absence Very best wishes from Paris, Stephany

Hi Stephany, Thanks for the great picture, it does look like a dramatic setting for a concert, and for the touching story as well. Cheers! David

Post #365. Thank you for that very interesting Red Rocks report, Stephany. That must be a lovely venue for a concert. My immediate thought was the Minack Theatre in North Cornwall HERE. This is am ampitheatre, its seats carved out of the cliff face where you look down on to the stage and out, across the stage to the Atlantic Ocean. If Hayley sorely missed Red Rocks i guess it is because of the nature of that theatre, so, Hayley, get your management team to look at Minack for their 2008 season. I reckon that will be a good second-best for a unique experience. Hopefully, it will be summer in summer time that year too! Peter S.

Hi everybody! I'm resuscitating this thread because Eugene has sent me a picture of Celtic woman's concert in New York's Radio City last St Patricks Day 2007. Eugene took the picture himself and has more pictures of that day to share with us. Eugene told me he watched the parade on 5th avenue before going to the sell-out concert. He also got special invites to the afterparty where he met and chatted with Hayley and Steve A. He also met Chloe Agnew and her mum who is a famous tv personality in Ireland. Thank you Eugene! I look forward to seeing your pictures of the afterparty Stephany
