Definitely 'yes', Martin. It was even more impressive than the version we can find on the CD version Hayley was really on top form! Can't wait to hear 'I feel pretty'. Stephany

Oh dear, it was absolutely gorgeous. Very pretty indeed! Just a question though, were the group of girls backing her live or was it only a pre-recording? EDIT: ok, my question has just been answered by the guy who presents the show (and by Dave!) Thank you. Stephany

I can't believe there was no retake. But then again, it's Hayley we are talking about! The live version of 'I feel pretty' was incredible. Her voice...awhhh too pretty! Stephany

Just, just FANTASTIC. To hear again was awesome and Hayley .......well what more can I say, she excelled. Incidentally, Stephany the shouts of MORE,MORE at the end were at the very least from Grant and me. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin

Brillant, absolutely brillant. I understand why you shouted 'more'! However, didn't she miss a note during 'Tonight' (the ensemble version)? I'll probably need to hear it again. Stephany - back to rugby!

Hi guys, Hayley's part in all this is now posted for streaming on the HWI main site. 25 minutes of Hayley and West Side Storyness at 64kbps and of good quality I think. I will post downloadable versions in the forum later tonight - including a 128kbps version and - if there is any demand for it - all the songs not just Hayley's ones. Hayley's part in West Side Story - 25 minutes of blissI agree Stephany, Hayley had a slight wobble and a tiny slip - but hey, this was done live! and I loved it! Cheers, Dave

OMG! Dave, you are a star! I didn't expect to listen to this beautiful recording once again so quickly but thanks to you, now I can! Many thanks I will post downloadable versions in ther forum later tonight - including a 128kbps version and - if there is any demand for it - all the songs not just Hayley's ones. Please, Dave. I really loved the guy who played the part of Tony. Less 'powerful' than Grigolo, but beautiful nevertheless. Thank you very much in advance! Stephany

This one was a struggle. I was hoping to get back from my business trip to the Isle of Man in time to listen to the whole thing. As it happened, the flight to Birmingham was on time.but my taxi from the airport wasn't. The driver said there was a problem on the M6 that had made him late,, so he devised a roundabout route back to Leicester. This involved the centres of Coleshill, Furnace End, Atherstone, and when we found the A5 was also closed by the police, Nuneaton, complete with speed bumps.. So it was after 8pm then I got home, tired and hungry. Only to be told that since I normally go shopping on a friday night, there was no dinner prepared or food in the fridge. Wonderful! But I did manage to hear the part of the programme that involved Hayley. And very good it was too! Is she the best Maria ever? Perhaps, I think so. I have to say that I thought that the Jose Carreras/Kiri te Canawa version of "One Hand, One Heart" is better than the Hayley/Vittorio version, though both are excellent. But Hayley nails "I feel Pretty" in a way that Dame Kiri doesn't get close to. And Hayley's singing on "Tonight" was awesome. I will listen to it again thanks to Dave, free of kitchen noises when I get time.
