The second row of icons went missing again tonight when composing a post. In fact they intitially appeared at the bottom of my post preview and then later in the left hand column! Martin (I have only had one glass of beer tonight! )

Yes, I've seen this as well. Proboards must have changed codes for something!
Martin, what board were you in when this occurred ??

Hi Martin The second row of icons went missing again tonight when composing a post. In fact they intitially appeared at the bottom of my post preview and then later in the left hand column! Martin (I have only had one glass of beer tonight! ) That's happened to me on several ocassions. The first time it happened, I spent ages trying to work out how they'd got there before realising that they weren't actually there at all (if you get my drift) ..... and I've had two glasses of wine! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Hi everyone, This button problem may just be an Internet Explorer issue - I can only make it happen when using IE 7 (which I do as little as possible). I haven't yet seen it at all in Firefox 3, which I use for 99% of the time. I also tried Safari a couple of days ago, at a time when IE was causing button problems. Safari too was fine - but I have only tried it once. Makes me glad that apart from my operating system (Windows XP), I always look for Microsoft alternatives. Choice is good! Dave

Hi Dave Yes, it was IE7 I was using. As someone once said: "Computers are like air conditioners. They work fine until you start opening windows.” Martin

Hello everybody! I've just made a couple of posts on different sub-boards. Both times the second row of smileys appeared at the bottom of the post when I previewed it. It didn't happen in this post, which is not on a sub-board, so I reckon there's a bug of some kind in the software. Richard

I agree, Richard. I have been using IE7 for over a year now and the problem only raised it's ugly head for me earlier this week. I am not aware of any IE7 upgrade recently either.

Martin I use IE8 and have the same problems - sometimes. Also the smilies sometimes appear in previews of posts. At first, I was blaming all the big banners that have appeared recently but I doubt if that's the root of the problems. No bugs at all today though. Paddy

I think it is (or was) IE only. I noticed the problem at work, where I use IE but not at home, where I use Firefox.

Hi all, Just a quick note to say that the wayward smiley issue from mid-November has been sorted. There was a update in the coding that changed the way the smilies were displayed. I got the new codes and Dave implemented it...and hey presto the second row of smilies are no longer off to the side etc but in their proper places. Many thanks, and Joe
