There are more photos on Amazon. I think it's safe to say this is a U.S. version. I do wish they'd list the tracks, but we'll probably have to wait till November. They might not know for sure yet, anyway. I suppose this means we'll need a new thread for this version, too? And then one for NZ, Canada, Australia, Taiwan... Hi Libby, I don't want to ruin your hope that this is a US version...but the fact that it releases 8 days after the UK version makes me think it may still be an import. And also the fact that there is no sign of a release in any other country yet... (apart from UK and Japan). I could be wrong.. Jono

Here's some very small versions of the photos to tide everyone over while I work on extra large ones! Aren't they beautiful!? Yes, very! Awesome the album releases in a few days!

I know! So does the album ship out on the release date? Does that mean I can expect mine sometime in the beginning of October?

This really does seem like it will be a US release...
Jillian, did you get to the other photos before they were taken down?

I know! So does the album ship out on the release date? Does that mean I can expect mine sometime in the beginning of October? Yeah, it should ship on release date if all goes to plan! They normally do anyway. I chose the fastest shipping option for this CD...would be interesting to see if it is any quicker than someone in NZ or Aus that chose the cheaper shipping options. The cheapest shipping option took around a week for the other albums I ordered from cdjapan.

Jono, it does not say anywhere on the page that it is an import. If it were, wouldn't they say so? Sure, it would make sense that a UK import would be released here after the UK release date, and that the cover is the same, but there is still absolutely nothing saying that it is an import. True, it is about the same price of River of Dreams, which is a UK import. So, why would they forget to put import if it really is? I don't see why they wouldn't release it here. They know she's gotten more popular because of CW (or they should), so I think it would benefit them to try. It's sure to sell, especially if we all tell our friends, radio stations, etc. about it. Anyway, just because they haven't informed us of any other releases doesn't mean there won't be. It still is very early for Christmas albums. After all, we only discovered that there was going to be one at all because initially the Japanese fans here told us, and then CDJapan, HMV, and Universal Music Japan showed it. Her website doesn't even mention the UK release, not even when they speak of the tour! The new album at the bottom is still RoD, not Winter Magic. The only way we knew about it was because the UK music sites are showing it. Now, the U.S. Amazon is showing it. So, that's how we know (or are clinging to the hope) about the U.S. version. In time, the NZ stores will show one, too. As I keep pointing out, if there is a New Zealand version (how could there not be?!), it may very well be released in December when Hayley goes home, so she can be there to promote it. After all, she's in Japan and UK at the times the album comes out in each of those countries. Don't be so pessimistic, Christmas is still 3 months away, exactly (well, it's still the 25th at my house!). There's still time for the NZ stores to tell you about it. I also chose Air Mail. The last 2 times, I'd chosen Express. But I didn't like how I had to be committed to being home to sign for it. I don't know why I didn't notice before that you didn't have to sign for Air Mail. Plus, it's cheaper, and doesn't take very much longer to get to you. Besides, Sept. is a little early for any Christmas album, even if the store you work at is already putting out the Christmas stuff. I'm already sick of Halloween, too.

Libby, It isn't going to happen... NZ will never get a version of this album, and Hayley will never do another concert here. Just Kidding! ....well you did say I'm being pessimistic! But I never actually doubted there would be US and NZ releases anyway...I was questioning whether this Amazon version is actually a US version or just an import of the UK version. It is weird that they would forget to say import on it...so maybe you're right. But if it were a US version wouldn't other online CD stores be listing it too? Are they? But hey, since it doesn't say 'import' I guess it is reasonable to assume it is a US version. I just have my doubts, that's all. I think it would be stupid if it didn't release here! A Hayley Christmas album....would definitely sell! At least as well as it would sell in the other markets (per population of course). And maybe you're right and they'll release it later....do they normally stagger release dates like that? Jono

I checked some other sites, and they don't list it yet. But like I said, it's awfully early! Barnes & Noble and Borders both have all her Japanese albums, River of Dreams, etc. I thought that was interesting. I think I'll check Walmart and CDNow next. It's quite possible Walmart will have it eventually, because they had Celtic Treasure. I wonder if they would have it at the actual stores, though.

Oh, I just checked Walmart, and they say the albums are not sold in their stores. That's too bad, but it's good that they do have them (just the 3 albums) on their site, at least. A lot of people do shop online.

Ooh, Target's site has HSJS1, and even lists Music of the Spheres, Different Voices, The New World, and Mario Frangoulis' album, Passione! I didn't like their review of Celtic Treasure, though. Sorry, this is getting off-topic.

The 30th is almost here! And it starts in Japan quite some time before it does where I am. So, hopefully that'll speed things up a little for some of us that way.
