Going back to the 2009 Festival of Remembrance again, does anyone have the DVD of the event? The DVD was produced by Royal British Legion and should, of course, include Hayley's performance and tribute to Dame Vera Lynn. It is still available from The Poppy Shop and is apparently in stock - but there is no additional information about it. The site is running very slow at the moment. What would be important for purchasers outside the UK is of course if it's region coded (unlikely) and if it's PAL or NTSC (probably PAL). Dave

Hi Dave
Although I can't comment on last years DVD, I did get the 2008 one and have to say I was rather disappointed with it. It is very basic with no facility to select paticular items. It is only possible to play the complete programme.
I've just had a look at my copy and there is no technical information to be found anywhere on the artwork or DVD itself. I don't know if the same will apply to last years.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes Grant

Whether it's PAL or not, I think I'd rather save my money and just watch the performances I like on youtube.

Thanks for the information Grant, sounds like it's not a very professionally produced DVD in the commercial sense and is aimed primarily at supporters of the Royal British Legion.

Hello everyone, I've just noticed that our 14 month old video on Youtube of Hayley singing "We'll Meet Again" at the Festival of Remembrance 2009 has passed 100,000 views. Here it is: We'll Meet Again. This video is now 5th on YouTube when I search for that title, and 10th when searching for Vera Lynn. As being "first" and being there a long time are two of the most important factors in getting many views for 'popular titles' on YouTube, I expect this video to continue to gain ground in the future. And so it should, it is a magnificent performance by Hayley and was very well put together by the Festival organisers. I have now made its YT video statistics 'public', for anyone who is interested. Click the icon next to the view count. Cheers, Dave
