Thanks for the article and photos. What happened to the black part of Hayley's dress? I guess she hadn't put it on yet? I thought it was part of the dress, though.

I've found a few photographs on the Fron Male Voice Choir's website: www.fronchoir.com/Remembrance.htmRehearsal with Hayley Westenra Performing "We'll Meet Again" with Hayley Westenra as a tribute to Dame Vera Lynn Hayley and the "Lads" backstage after the performance Richard

Hi everyone, Our Youtube video of Hayley singing We'll Meet Again at the RAH last November has been doing quite well on Youtube, with 42,986 views in 8 months and the daily rate remains constant. I thought a few facts and figures about it might be interesting. In the UK, it currently makes up 25% of all views of HWI's YT videos (48 in all). Worldwide, it's 14% (the only one over 10%). In Youtube searches for "Well Meet Again" (with or without "vera lynn") our video is 5th on page 1. Adding Hayley to the search makes it the top result of course. In YT searches for "Vera Lynn" it's 10th on page 1. In Google searches for "We'll Meet Again Hayley Westenra" the top 4 results are all links to our videos or the main website. As far as I know, these are the best results that we've ever had for any video (and possibly anything else) posted on HWI or our Youtube channel. This is good. Cheers, Dave

That's great news Dave. Do we have much interest in it from overseas, bearing in mind that it is a very British memory?

That's great news Dave. Do we have much interest in it from overseas, bearing in mind that it is a very British memory? Hi Martin D, It is surprisingly popular outside the UK, most of all in Canada where it has 34% of all HWIvid views in the last 10 days. So: Canada: no. 1 UK: No. 1 Ireland: No. 1 Aus: No. 1 Much of Europe including Germany, Denmark Norway & Sweden: No. 1 US: No. 2 (after The Prayer) NZ: No. 2 (after God Defend NZ) Brazil No. 2 (after Vivo Per Lei) and generally in the top 3, but it's down at no. 6 in Japan and Taiwan. Cheers, Dave

I don't suppose Hayley is a part of this year's festival, or wouldn't we have heard about it by now?

Hi Libby Last year we heard about Hayley's participation in the Festival two months before it took place so as we have heard nothing at all this year her involvement is now unlikely. But never say never! Martin

I don't suppose Hayley is a part of this year's festival, or wouldn't we have heard about it by now? Hi Libby, I don't have the official answer yet but I am making enquiries. However... On the BBC website, Radio 2 programmes for 13th November, Festival of Remembrance highlights, www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/radio/2010/wk46/sat.shtml Hayley is mentioned as being one of the voices taking part but it does not state in what capacity. As BBC TV broadcasts the same event (but details are not yet announced) it therefore seems entirely possible that we will both hear and see Hayley on radio/TV that day. Well I certainly hope so, watch this space... if I get confirmation of this I will start a new thread for 2010. Dave
