I think that Hayley's tweeting of the links will help a lot. She has nearly 1300 followers, and they will all have seen the tweet.

Comet, I posted Dave's youtube link on the official forum, if that's what you're concerned about.
What Comet seems to be saying is that there were a lot more visitors to Hayley's official forum than here, so he is concerned about whether they're getting adequate information and links that they need. Since Hayley's official website has a link to the official forum, that's where they'll go first. The video saying "hwivid" at the bottom doesn't necessarily tell people what it is, or that they should come here.

Thanks, Jillian, I had heard that the Queen had driven trucks for the war. I didn't know any other details. Since I only caught a quick glimpse of her, I did not happen to see her applauding. I'll have to watch it again, so I can see.

The two forums have a common goal, to support Hayley, Not to exist separately for their own merit or glory. THANKS LIBBY, I know you do Trojan work on Hayley's behalf in various ways, like e mailing radio stations and getting Hayley's music played when you can, It's not easy, a lot of requests are ignored or sidestepped in one way or another. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LIBBY !

Find out birthdays of well known people and use them as well. You may well add Hospital requests to that lot, ie "For all the caring staff in ********* ward, who are listening to your station"

I'll have to watch it again, so I can see. Princess Elizabeth was trained to drive a truck and change tyres etc, but she did not actively take part in the war. It was more of an demonstration of solidarity with the people, and I am sure was much appreciated. Getting back to the song Hayley sang at the Festival, it has always been referred to in our family as The Eskimo Song. "Whale meat again ... "

Hi Paul, Cross-site co-operation can of course be contributed to by anyone who is a member of both forums but if you want to discuss it further, there are more suitable threads already existing in the Miscellaneous board. I don't know why you made the "merit or glory" comment, it seems to be an odd thing to say. If you think you have evidence of it, feel free to reveal it in a more appropriate thread. Otherwise, let's try to stay on topic please: Festival of Remembrance! Cheers, Dave

Here's a fairly sharp and clear screen capture that I made of Hayley's red dress. Hayley singing, near the start of 'We'll Meet Again' at The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance 2009 Dave

Hi everyone.
Well done for your background knowledge Jillian but the Queen did more than that. She could strip an engine down. If you saw the film 'The Queen' she is shown in a mood driving a land rover somewhat recklessly over a stream bed and losing a half-shaft. In the middle of the stream she gets our of the land rover, looks underneath to see the damage and rings on her mobile for assistance. "Oh I don't think it can be as bad as that Ma'am" "You forget that during the war I was trained as a mechanic. It's the half-shaft that's gone"
How many heads of state would get out of their vehicle in the middle of a stream to look under their vehicle and be able to report what was the problem?!

Well done Dave.
That is excellent. Thank you.
I think the two girls were superb. Faryl in brilliant yellow with a most fetching and highly appropriate very wide black sash waistband and Hayley's ability to get the right colour of red in what is a really smashing gown.
