I have never considered myself especially political but I can understand how others may think I am. It's that classification and genre thing again! I will not be pigeon-holed, I believe in 'just being' and letting the wind ruffle my hair but maybe too much of that wind comes from me and I ruffle too many people's feathers. It is a matter of being involved in life and being a part of the whole. There is a time and place to take The Road Less Travelled and a time to be part of the throng. I do not necessarily charge into the fray on instinct but if a platform is thrust under my feet then i will bask in the limes and play to the gallery, for all the world's a stage...

I'm always trying to imagine who would be able to wear that and not look really out of place. Maybe if you were marrying Prince William or an Arab oil millionaire in Dubai, perhaps... Does anyone 'know' anything about fashion? Seriously, I read fashion blogs and sometimes I feel like shouting 'Is everyone taking crazy pills!? Can't you see all of this looks ridiculous?!!' As long as it has the big brand name on it, some of these 'fashionistas' will love it regardless.
I agree with you that the Abed Mahfouz collection is pretty much unwearable for mere mortals, but it's still fun to look at.
Personally, I much prefer much simpler dresses.

I agree, Jillian. Simple (in fashion) is the most beautiful.
It puts the focus where it belongs - on something that is much more beautiful than any dress ........
Hate labels - except on packages and bottles ..........
