Well done, Graeme - according to my records, that was indeed entry number 55. However, it was only your second entry so you can submit one more if you wish. Roger WOWSERS... That picture (Number 55) is mighty impressive! Andrew

Hi Graeme,
I'm so glad that you posted that photo because it would have been my 4th choice! I love that set of photos -- the lighting in the back mixed with Hayley's purple dress is just mesmerising!

X3 i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Purple is my favorite color...and it looks great,as you say mixed with that lighting, she looks stunning. That has to be my #1 pick so far.

Hi everyone
Some great pics so far - its going to be a very difficult decision - voting for a winner.
Anyway, regarding my three photos (post13) just to let you now that I have asked Roger to delete my original third photo as it was not taken by a forum member (it was Hayley's road manager, Ray, actually) therefore it does not comply with the competition rules. I have selected another photo and Roger has very kindly modified the post for me/
Best wishes Mark

Hi Everyone Just a reminder that the competition entry closes this weekend so if you have yet to submit your photos please do so by the end of Saturday GMT.
The thread will not be locked but any photos submitted after Saturday will not be considered for the shortlist.
The response has been amazing so I now look forward to the next stage to draw up a shortlist of 12 followed by the open poll.
Best wishes Martin

You have a very difficult task ahead and I don't envy you. I do, however, wish you all the best and look forward to the results. I understand Grecian 2000 is very good for hiding grey hairs! Best wishes Grant

My favourite Hayley photo is the one in her blue Unicef teeshirt with her arm round a child in Ghana. It encapsulates what Hayley is all about. Trouble is, it wasn't taken by a member so it doesn't qualify. It's in the 2008 River of Dreams programme.

Hi All The entry is now closed so thank you all for your submissions. As expected the quality of photos is extremely high and will make it very difficult for the management and support teams to select a shortlist of 12!
The Forum Poll to select the top 6 from the shortlist will start on Tuesday 7th July.

Hi All In the spirit of the competition being a bit of fun, the Staff teams have agreed that in drawing up the shortlist with a maximum of eleven people to vote in this round, if the Site Photographers were unable to vote for their own if they genuinely believe it was merited, it would put them at a disadvantage. I have therefore changed the original rule to now allow them to vote for their own photos (as they would be able to do in the open poll anyway).

I'm all in favour of the photographers being able to vote for their own work, but I hope this doesn't lead to any one of them sweeping the first, second and third place honours. I'd hate to see this competition dominated by just one person -- even if that individual does have the best three pics (and this is a real possibility, folks).

As with all things, Steve, we are trying to run the competition as democratically and fairly as possible. All we are doing at the moment is reducing the entries from 60 down to 12. All members will then have the opportunity to vote in the main poll to further reduce the shortlist to 6. Hopefully, your concerns will be borne in mind by all voters.
Roger
