Hello everyone, Hayley has now climbed the daily official album chart to no. 9 (on Friday) so the sequence has been: Below 30 -> 20 -> 15 -> 9. Now that's what I call progress! When next week's final chart comes out, the position will I think be somewhere between 10 and 20, similar to or not far behind HSJS1. Cheers, Dave

I managed to collect my HSJS2 discs from Parcelforce this lunchtime.... On top of the $90 (I guess about £65) for the two CDs and shipping, there was a further £20.22 charge from customs; this was made up of £6.72 VAT and an astonishing £13.50 "handling charge" by Parcelforce. All in all, HSJS2 came in for me and my friends at over £40 each Oh Dear Colin, Mine took just 4 days by ordinary airmail. They had ticked the box for gift and hence no value was given. Therefore no trouble with customs etc. We must remember to post this next time so others don't fall into the same trap Graham

Hi! I ordered my HSJS2 on Tuesday evening and it arrived yesterday. Until now I ordered all my CDs from Japan from HMV Japan. They arrive quickly with EMS. 1500 Yen (£11) for shipping are the only addtional costs. So it's 34 Euros for HSLS2 including shipping. Thomas

peter--- i wouldnt have waited. i promised myself i'd wait until monday as it is [we are moving offices and i would have been there; i still will be, but there is something more secure about actually having been where your packages are being delivered]. that lasted about 5 min.

Well, I've listened to the album once, and it is nice. There was one song I recognised though - Mother of Mine, and I couldn't quite remember where from. As usual the Internet came to my rescue.
Hayley obviously picked up on the Japanese versio of this song. But it is not really a Japanese song. But no, I won't be asking for my money back under the trades description act. I loved Hayley's version of it, and I'm sure it is better than the original (which I only vaguely remember). In fact, I vaguely remember now that the original made me cringe.
I think I will need to listen to this album a few more times to properly get my brain round it. The only comment I will make at the moment is that Hayley's voice sounds fabulous. Ant the two tracks she recorded with her 2009 voice even more so than those which were in the old 2008 voice. But so far, I love it!

I was very disappointed with Amazon jp and FedEx, even the order confirmation email they sent me was all in Japanese, the shipment was more expensive than EMS from CDJapan, and I had to clear the package at customs myself, if not FedEx would charge me a lot more money, it's a pity that for overseas deliveries they only work with FedEx. CdJapan is the best option, you can choose deliver by Airmail or EMS, or as I recall HMV jp only deliver overseas by EMS and is cheaper than CDJapan. Here all packages are subject to customs fees for delivers outside the EU, but EMS will not charge more money than that. Best wishes, Paulo Correia

Hi everyone I think the customs charges are basically the luck of the draw (or the lack of it . I guess the size and shape of my parcel may have helped to single it out - though has anyone else received the poster as well? However, the music is what's important, and I think this is a delightful album, possibly Hayley's most personal to date. And perhaps best of all - which was brought up earlier - is that Hayley dedicates the album to her mother Jill. When we discovered it was themed on motherhood I guess that's kind of something we all really knew she would do. Kind regards Colin

Hi everyone
Just getting round to ordering my copy of HSJS2. I know its lazy of me, but to save me reading through the 16 pages of this thread, can anyone tell me if I have got the right CD on the CD Japan site. There seems to be a 'Regular Edition' and a 'Special Editon'. I would prefer the special edition as this obviously has the dvd with it. Is the track listing the same as the regular (cant find a track listing on CD Japan) and am I in the right region for the dvd to play ? Any other differences i should be aware of ?

Hi Mark, To try and avoid custom charges it appears best to use ordinary air mail and tick the box for gift. Other options seem more risky !
Best Wishes,
Graham

Just watched the video. As expected, just the two tracks mimed at Mona Vale (and occasionally the lip sync was wrong) But enjoyable nonetheless. I am enjoying this album a lot, well worth getting if anyone is hestating. And Hayley's voice is better than ever in my opinion.
