Here is another article which sounds much more like the lovely Rhydian I have met. It is in a Magazine called Womans Own. [/quote]

Thanks for the scan, Clorinda. Although I think that I'm going to need to need new eyes / glasses after squinting to read that tiny font! I should have eaten more carrots when I was little! (Or is that for seeing in the dark??)

I find if I press Contol & + the print magnifies and I can keep repeating it until I can read the text. To go back to normal I just press Control & 0. I hope it works for you too You might find this interesting too. About 2/3rds of the way down Rhydian explains his track list choices on O Fortuna album in his own words. (The biography section has been updated on the Official site. ) www.rhydianroberts.com/biography/

Hi Jillian, :rollin I had always heard that eating carrots would make your eyes beautiful, or they are good to the eyes as no rabbits wear glasses! Getting back on topic I'm realy looking forward to Rhydian's new album, I ordered it with Hayley's Winter Magic. Best wishes, Paulo Correia

At long last I have Rhydian's new album O Fortuna in my possession............ WOW, I think it is incredible. Very classical and his singing is superb. He reaches new heights. I absolutely love the tracks he sings in Latin, this man has so many talents. He can sing in English, Welsh, French, Italian, Latin, is an accomplished pianist, what else can he do??? What a man! PS. Benedictus is beautiful with Kiri de Kanawa singing the duet with him.

Good to hear that you have received O Fortuna Graeme. I hope you are enjoying listening to it. I have quite literally had it playing non-stop - have copied it to my hard drive on the tv, copied it to Windows Media Player so I can listen to it when on the computer and have it on my little portable cd player for when I go walking!!! I can listen to it wherever I am. I know I am a saddo! The two tracks which I think are really exceptional are Benedictus and Ave Verum. I simply melt when I hear them - I think it is the Voice singing in Latin. The people that produced the insert messed up - they missed out the words to Cantilena. I shall have to check it out on the internet for the wording. I am feeling quite proud of myself - I am even learning the latin words so I can "sing along".... lol I hope everyone gets as much pleasure from the album as I do! Maggie x

Saw him on Titchmarsh yesterday. I thought he had taste until he said he'd duetted with Kiri te Kanawa.
