Does anybody know how the voting is done and by whom! We might not get ballot stuffing this time, but we might get personal bias. Also, who else has been nominated? It would be nice to know who she is up against.

But since this is all about performances rather than recordings, Hayley must stand a good chance.

The Variety Club ShowBiz Awards 2008



It all started back in 1952 when the first Variety Club ShowBiz Awards were created. Since then, this spectacular and prestigious event has been an annual fixture in the entertainment calendar.

The ShowBiz Awards are synonymous with glamour, glitz and the recognition of outstanding talent. It is the only UK awards ceremony that spans all areas of the arts - television, film, comedy, classical music, popular music, musical theatre and dramatic theatre.

Following last year's success, once again the event will be recorded and broadcast by Sky.
