I wonder is Selling out within 3 days a record for one of Hayley's Concerts? Hi Dean, Did I read somewhere that Barrow sold out in three days? Anyway, I think three days would be a joint record as that is what happened in Southampton last year. I mentioned here that the Turner Sims Concert Hall website said: So that's twice now! Good to hear that the tickets are all selling well, Roger, I was wondering about that only yesterday! Cheers, Dave

Cheers, Dave Yeah, Barrow sold out (in under 3 days) before it even went to print in the local paper, but I think Gordon & Roger beat me to the first seats, although I think I was 2nd to get tickets. I can't wait, I've already got my tie at the ready, Have you sorted your hotel out yet Roger & Gordon, if you need a hand let me know. But I think it is only matched by the time it took to Record HSJS

Hi Dean, Sorry to disappoint you but if Gordon and I both beat you to buying tickets, that makes you 3rd! Thanks for the offer to find a hotel for us but we sorted that one out when we booked the tikcets. We will be staying in the Duke Hotel in Abbey Road. The following morning, we will be setting off bright and early... well, early anyway... to Newcastle. Roger

I think Yates's near the Forum 28 would be a good meeting place. Also as I live out of Barrow, I'd be happy to give you & gordon a lift back to your hotel on my way home I have a feeling this post will need to end up in Barrows Thread Cheers Dean

Wow! I have often commented that although I often see concerts by people like Kathy Jenkins featured in the entertainment pages of national newspapers, I NEVER see anything like that for Hayley. Yet she sells out in three days! When I think about it, I don't think I ever saw an empty seat at a Hayley concert, but perhaps they could have packed a few more in at Lincoln and KOKO. No doubt it is felt that Hayley doesn't need to advertise her concerts nationally, so the organisers don't waste thier money! They know now what a fabuous artist they have. I'm in a bit of a buzz at the moment, since I have just returned from a showing of the film of Phantom of the Opera at church. That Emmy Rossum has a voice that is quite like Hayley's, so it is not surprising that ALW chose Hayley for All I ask of You at the Hyde Park bash. (OT again I know,,but I have a habit of doing that. The mods will slap me down one day).

Hi Martin The tour has been prominently advertised in weekend nationals for sometime now most notably the Mail, Sunday Mail and Saturday Telegraph. Perhaps others also. Martin

Hi Martin,
Well, I usually look at those pages, and haven't noticed! I must be blind or senile or something!

Och ! I'm green with envy, you guys in the UK are so lucky. One HWI member will be at every one of these concerts (Hayley) Is it possible any other HWI member is going to go to ALL of these concerts ?

We now know that the guest artists throughout this tour will be Raven. They will be backing Hayley but also have a guest slot of their own.
Thanks to Kathryn of Bedlam Management for the information.

Hi All, If anyone has some river of dreams tour tickets they can't use let me know. I have some time I didn't anticipate so I'd like to come over to the U K for the tour. If so send me a personal message.

Hi Roger and everyone Just read your post on the general photography thread and think locking it whilst the RoD tour is underway is a very sensible move. We are all going to be busy - I've told most of my friends not to expect too much from me over the next few weeks as I will either be travelling between concerts; attending concerts or reporting on concerts It is also worth pointing out, I think, that coverage may be a bit slower arriving on the forum as some of us will hardly have returned home from one venue before it's time to head off to the next. It's going to be great fun though and I can't wait for it all to unfold. Best wishes Grant
