Hi Roger and everyone We are all going to be busy - I've told most of my friends not to expect too much from me over the next few weeks as I will either be travelling between concerts; attending concerts or reporting on concerts It's going to be great fun though and I can't wait for it all to unfold. Best wishes Grant Hi Grant, Just how many of these concerts will you be attending? It would be lovely to do that, but unfortunately I have to work sometime! That means I can't normally do midweek ones unless they are close to home or work. So I will only make Stoke and Northampton. It all looks very quiet next year though! Martin

Just how many of these concerts will you be attending? After Stoke, 7 RoD concerts - Newcastle, Lichfield, Northampton, Llandudno, Manchester, Cardiff and Swansea - then the Barbican in December which will be my 40th Hayley concert! With potentially a new album coming out - I don't think it will be. Oh! I'm already booked for one in Glasgow in May Best wishes Grant

Interesting that she is starting her RIVER of Dreams tour in Aberdeen, at the mouth of the River Dee. She can tell the good people of Aberdeen that the city is special to her, because she was named after its river! Is this the "River of Dreams"?
But there is more. The night before she will be at Stoke on Trent (not strictly ROD I know), and there will be someone there named after that river too, ME, since my middle name is Trent.
Can we continue this chain I wonder? Can we have a different River of Dreams at each concert, with someone in the theatre named after it? Will there be anyone called Forth (or Firth) at Dunfirmline? Or anyone with similar connections at any of the other venues?

My birthday happens to be the fourth "Forth" of September... but as I said sadly I am no longer able to attend the Dunfermline concert. I will make this up to Hayley somehow!!! - I'm seeing her this Sunday in Aberdeen though... and I really can't wait!!! Andrew

Hi All,
I think it would be a good idea for all HWI members to post which River of Dreams concerts they will be attending.

Hi Larry, I'm going to Barrow, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Southend. That is Barrow-in-Furness, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Southend-on-Sea. Why is Bournemouth not on or in anything? Roger

Why is Bournemouth not on or in anything? Roger Hi Roger It may not be "on" or "in" anything but according to a recent national survey it is the happiest place in the UK. It will be even happier after the concert. Martin Back to the thread, I am going to Northampton and Leamington but also thinking about Cheltenham.

If you had a more local knowledge of it like me, you might have realised that this town is really Bour-on-mouth. And I'll be going to the concert! Cheers, Dave
