Classic FM are promoting this tour very heavily. I have heard an advert for it at least six times over the last two days. They list five venues but emphasis there will be sixteen concerts in all. They then give the ticket agent's website or invite listeners to phone them (Classic FM) for further details.

A colleague I took to work today told me that he had heard the adverts on Classic FM and did I know about these 16 concerts. I told him I had had tickets for Northampton for a while. Since he showed interest in what Hayley sounded like, I played part of the Japanese Songs album (I don't usually inflict my musical taste on passengers unless I know they like what I'm playing), and he was impressed, particularly enjoying the bits sung in Japanese. He said he was starting to understand why I like Hayley so much, and that she is a quality singer with a very high techincal standard. So another covert maybe!!

Hi Graeme,
Ah yes, that was the word!
We've just been away to Norfolk in the van for the second weekend in succession, and this time we took two of Sue's work colleagues with us. I played them plenty of Hayley of course, but the thing that did the trick was the Barcarolle video from St James. They both want a copy, but one doesn't have a computer, and I'm not optimistic about converting it to something that will play on a standard DVD player!
Oh dear, I'm off topic yet again!!! Sorry!

Hi Mangiawai, I'm sorry to say that no information has been released about any US appearances. If and when it happens, a new thread for each event will probably be started immediately here in the Concert board but details will certainly be added to the Schedule HERERoger

Hello folks! To get back on topic, the latest Newsletter from Universal Classics and Jazz has a list of all the dates and venues for Hayley's 'River of Dreams' tour. It still includes Durham on 22nd October and says the Liverpool concert is on 3rd November. All together now... Grrrrrrr! Richard

Does anyone know what's happening after December? or even have an idea?
I'm hoping she'll be back in Ireland, North or South, again soon in the new year. But if not then it'd be good know when to book sometime off for a trip to England. This side of Christmas is a no can do.

I have checked the ticket availability of all venues. Dunfermline, Barrow and Lichfield are sold out. Tickets are available at all other venues but in most cases they are likely to be towards the back of the stalls (typically Row R or S) or in the circle. Please note there are only two seats available for the stalls in Northampton and they are in Row V.

Hi Roger
Many thanks for updating the ticket position for Hayley's concert tour. Strangely enough, I was only thinking about this, this morning and would probably have had a look myself had I not spent the morning backing up my computer!
It's good to hear that venues are beginning to sell out. My guess is that Northampton will be the next to sell out completely. Wonder how the larger venues are doing?
Best wishes Grant

I wonder is Selling out within 3 days a record for one of Hayley's Concerts? I don't know, Dean. I think I remember one or two of the Il Divo tour sold out pretty quickly but I suspect 3 days may be a record for one of Hayley's own concerts. Roger

What is even more good news is that the sales have to be based upon Hayley's popularity and reputation rather than, say, on the back of a recent record release. The tour undoubtedly will benefit the River of Dreams cd release (which must be one of the primary objectives of the tour) and it also shows that the selection of venues was carefully thought through by Hayley's management. It all adds up to being a huge success. Can't wait. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin
