Hi Roger, I'm not one for "rocking the boat" but I have made a few ripples on the surface of the water... I've just been experimenting with some animated photo special effects within some Website Design Software. Here's a small (still) image of Hayley's 'River of Dreams' CD Cover...I added some "water rippling" special effects below the image. Imagine how great the animated image looks with the water rippling below! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAndrew Anyway, back on topic... I can't wait for the 'River of Dreams' UK Tour!

Hi Andrew,
That was an amazing effect! Very good job!
For me, this tour is a new chapter in Hayley's career. A time to look back perhaps, to say 'thank you'.
Also, not many artists can release a 'best-of' CD at age 21 !
Cheers, Joe

The nearest she has been to Newcastle in her own concerts was Bradford (99 miles away) during the Pure tour. Roger Well done, Andrew, of course she did. How did I miss that when it is only two or three miles from Newcastle? If you want me, I'll be standing in the corner! Roger And there was also .....Friday 15th December 2006 - The Harrogate International Centre. Which is closer than Bradford but not Gateshead i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifGraham

Hayley can easily fill 700 seat venues just about anywhere in the UK but as they get above 1,000, it does get a bit harder to fill them and there have been occasions when say 2,000 seat venues have not been full, when they have been "in the wrong place". One case that comes to mind is Birmingham Symphony Hall (2200) and it is good to see they have chosen the smaller Birmingham town Hall this time (1086). I am a bit nervous about Newcastle-upon-Tyne (2135) Hi Dave, Maybe it would have been better to opt for Durham not Newcastle The main auditorium is a state-of-the-art venue fully equipped with all the sound and lighting facilities you would expect from a modern theatre. The auditorium capacity is 500 Time will tell ! However as I can only go to Newcastle I am not going to complain ! Graham

Hi Joyce, Yes, I regret there is a mistake on the poster. Bedlam promised me that the date would be corrected before they were printed but, for some reason, it didn't happen. For the benefit of anyone who may be confused, the correct date for the Liverpool event is 4th November and not 3rd as stated on the poster. Roger

Simon Lole confirmed last night that he would be on the piano for Hayley (and conducting) for most but not all of the River of Dreams Tour. The Raven Quartet and The Pavao Quartet would be taking turns in supporting Hayley.
Simon also mentioned that Hayley would be returning to Japan this autumn for further promotion of the Japanese album (I don't know if anyone has told Hayley yet).

Does anyone know which concerts are sold out at the moment? Only Barrow that we know of so far, although Lichfield appears only to have a few seats left. Best wishes Grant

Hello folks! How's this for an amazing coincidence? I'm currently listening to the Classic FM Most Wanted online while reading the forum. Just as I clicked on this thread Anne-Marie Minhall started playing the slow movement of 'Winter' from Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons', which is of course the tune of Hayley's 'River of Dreams'! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hi everyone Will Martin mentioned on BBC Radio 2 this weekend that he has a tour in Scotland in October. Hayley is also touring in Scotland with a 'special guest' on the River of Dreams tour. I wonder if...? Last time I asked him the question, he managed to change the subject Any ideas? Stephany

... I see the date for Liverpool is still wrong. Hopefully, that means two concerts in Liverpool. I'll be there on the 3rd Nov. also. Paddy
