Hi Martin,
Thanks for suggesting the Red Lion. As it is so close to the venue, it seems the ideal choice.
As was the case after the iTunes event, please be aware that the Victoria Line will close at 10pm for engineering works. For anyone requiring Victoria Station, take the Bakerloo line from Piccadilly Circus and change at Embankment, then the Circle and District line (westbound) to Victoria. For Euston, take the Piccadilly line and change at Leicester Square, then the Northern line to Euston. I don't think the early closure will affect any other route.

Hi Martin I agree with Richard - sounds like an excellent watering hole and close by too. What time should we meet do you think? I would have thought that we would need to start a queue for our tickets (and prime seating position) no later than 6.00pm so meeting at The Red Lion from say 4.30 - 5.00pm would seem appropriate. It really depends upon whether or not you want to eat. Be aware though it is a very small pub and more than 12 constitutes a crowd.  I hope to be there for 5.00pm ish. Best wishes Martin |

Or, you could walk to Green Park station (5 min) and catch the Victoria line directly to Victoria (1 stop). Martin |

I think I will aim to be there about 4pm. Grant, if you want to meet up, I wouldn't mind checking out the venue first - at around 4pm and then make our way to the Red Lion for something to eat, then back to the venue for 6pm to queue up. How does that sound ?

Hopefully shouldn't take more than an hour from check in at Croydon to get back into the city, so I'll aim to be at the venue as close to 4pm as possible.
