Let's pretend that Hayley's next album will include a duet with another singer (as far as I know, it won't!). Which of the following singers would be your preferred choice?
I have listed five female and five males singers. As I may not have included some of your favourite singers, you may vote for "Other" and name them in a reply if you wish. I deliberately didn't include Sophie to give the others a chance! Also, if you would prefer there not to be a duet, you may vote for "None".
You are allowed TWO votes each but they must be made at the same time. You cannot vote once and then come back to cast your second vote.
Votes will be revealed AFTER yours has been cast and this poll will lock automatically in two weeks' time.
As this is a ficticious topic and not intended to be an indication of the next album, I am putting it on the Miscellaneous board and not Albums.
Have fun!
Roger

Hello Roger and everybody! I voted for Natasha Marsh and Alfie Boe. Their voices are more operatic, but I'm sure Hayley's would blend well with either of them. Richard

Hi Roger,
I voted "Other"
I would love to hear Hayley duet with someone like Tom Waits or Kris Kristofferson a complete opposite.

Hello Comet! I don't think you've submitted your vote yet, so you should try again. Richard

Hi all, This is a very interesting poll, Roger. I voted Natasha Marsh and "Other" (Will Martin). Natasha has a lovely voice and like Richard said, I think her voice would blend perfectly with Hayley's. Stephany

Hello everyone I've voted other because I'm not sure about any of the poll choices. In fact I couldn't think of a male choice until Stephany mentioned Will, so I would also pick Will (thanks Stephany! ). My female choice would be little Connie Talbot. Best wishes Grant

When I first heard Sissel's voice after already having heard Hayley's I thought it would be nice to have a duet between them since both their voices have a "bell-tone" quality to them. So Sissel got my vote, and since I couldn't think of anyone else I would like her to duet with I just voted for her.

It's too late for her next album, because she's probably already recorded everything for it by now. Anyway, I chose Josh Groban; surprise, surprise! What is it about British people not liking Josh as much? I've noticed most of you here aren't big fans of his, if at all. He has a lot more fans on Hayley's official board.

Hi all, I voted for Josh Groban and "other". A duet between Josh and Hayley would be beneficial to getting Hayley noticed over here in the USA. The "other" would be a collaboration with a popular Celtic folk group or artist. The Chieftains, Mary Black, etc. I still haven't given up on Hayley duetting with Ciaran MacGillivray of The Cottars...I'll have to remind Allister again! BTW, Roger, I'll have to PM you about the poll results! Joe

Hi everyone I voted "Other". My other female artist is Heather Nova, but it would need to be an up-tempo number like Summer Fly. Maybe even Heather Nova is the right Heather to sing Chattanooga Choo Choo with Hayley (A close second to this would be a "technical duet" like the new Japanese Amazing Grace but with Ella Fitzgerald - a think a cleverly arranged version of Summertime between Ella and Hayley would be sumptuous.) My other male artist would be Will Martin. Stephany noted on another thread that Hayley and Will singing Come What May from Moulin Rouge would be gorgeous, and I agree. Kind regards Colin

Hi Everyone, I voted 'other' and would also have voter for another 'other' if it was allowed !
Female choice.... Elizabeth Marvelly.
Also given it is a 'fantasy type choice' and remembering Amazing Grace2008 with all the modern blending etc......
Male choice...... John Denver

Umm? "The Eagle And The Hawk" maybe? And what about "The Ambulance Down In The Valley" for a comic duet? Best wishes Grant

Hi I went for "Other" also as I would like to hear Hayley alongside some contemporaries in the "easy listeneing" genre.
For male I go for Michael Ball and female, Celine Dion.
I also would love to hear Hayley with All Angels.
