I voted Katherine Jenkins and Josh Groban (though I'm not a big fan of his). Although I would like to have their duet on the other artist's album as well as Hayley's.

Male choice...... John Denver That's a very interesting and appealing thought Graham. Umm? "The Eagle And The Hawk" maybe? And what about "The Ambulance Down In The Valley" for a comic duet? Hi Grant, I hadn't got that far ! It was just a personal choice. that I would love to hear their voices 'blending' together. Others seem to have interpreted it as the best choice to further Hayley's profile, which is a entirely different question . I don't necessarily think my choice would be a commercial success but it was I thought ,answering the original question. Thinking about your question, 'Annie's Song' or 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' (very apt for Hayley's globe trotting !) ... Remember Peter, Paul and Mary (and John) did a cover of it .................. HERETheir voices are surely too good for a comedy duo and I have only heard John talk through"The Ambulance Down In The Valley" not sing it Still thinking about what song, but as it will never happen Best Wishes, Graham

Hayley and Will Martin singing:- All I Ask Of You from " Phantom Of The Opera"Love Changes Everything from " Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dream coat " I think that is the correct showThere are other songs that could be chosen but I reckon these two would be rather nice OK, I have chosen two Kiwi's ( heh heh heh why not ) i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI am going to choose another Kiwi Elizabeth Marvelly I am not sure which songs would suite as I haven't yet heard Elizabeth live on stage I reckon this would make a nice CD as guest artist for some future album, who knows, it may happen. cheers, Rodders

Very clever Paddy, pity you couldn't synchronise the videos also? I bet you couldn't stage Hayley & Elvis singing "Love Me Tender" Best wishes "Someone"

Hi Paddy, Thanks for the Youtube link to Hayley and Michael Ball singing 'Love Changes Everything' (from'Aspects of Love'), I had not seen this before. Even with the fairly 'basic' mix it shows what can be done. Maybe my choice of John Denver and Hayley will happen ! Graham

Hi Paddy
That's a great 'duet'!! I was a great fan of the original "Aspects Of Love" and saw the show a number of times in the West End.
Interestingly, Hayley would have been about the same age as Jenny, (madly in love with Michael Ball's Alex) when "Hayley Westenra" was first recorded, so the duet is quite appropriate.
Best wishes Grant

That duet would have been great if the editor (Not me) had done a better synchronisation job. Pity Dave's in Cyprus! Paddy

When I first heard Sissel's voice after already having heard Hayley's I thought it would be nice to have a duet between them since both their voices have a "bell-tone" quality to them. So Sissel got my vote, and since I couldn't think of anyone else I would like her to duet with I just voted for her. <3 Caitlin Hi Caitlin, Those are exactly my thoughts, I voted Sissel too (and no others). On certain types of song, their voices would I am sure blend very well indeed. I considered Will Martin but I'm not sure and as there's no separate box for him; I wasn't going to vote "other". Record companies permitting, it is also more of a practical possibility than some of the others. I think several singers like Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli (maybe others) would be out for financial reasons - and I don't think the rewards would be sufficient to counter the costs, so I didn't vote for them In the US, UK and NZ, Sissel does less well than Hayley - so there would probably be no financial issues to worry about and it would be a purely artistic collaboration, the kind I like. But I am surprised at how well Sissel is doing in the poll! Cheers, Dave

The voting list rings no bells with me.
Some have already 'been there - done that' - in concerts/on CDs with Hayley.
Mario Lanza (or Frank Patterson) would be great, if they were still living.
Personally, I'd love to hear Giorgia or Celine sing with Hayley.
But I really think Mirusia's the best to duet with Hayley.
Should easily make No. 1 in the Australian (and NZ) charts.

Well, other for sure. I would go with Hayley's choice for female singer - Barbra Streisand. Male, I think Carreras, although another recorded duet with Aled would be nice. Or a collaboration with Dave Dobbyn.

One of my reasons for starting this poll was to test the software of v4.5. As it happens, it has tested it in a way that I didn't envisage! Because we were offline for nearly three days, I thought I would extend the duration of the poll to compensate. Unfortunately, the software doesn't let me! So, there are only four days remaining until the poll closes. Any more votes, please? Roger

Hello Everyone,
I would love Hayley do some more duets with Meav. Now that Meav went solo, hopefully one day that will happen. "Last Rose of Summer" is just brilliant.
My Best, Howard
