So as to the newest question of the day...What is Hayley's lowest note and in which song does it occur? Hehe...I must have been composing that as you were posting your question. Scary! Dave

Okay... her lowest note would be in the song "Sonny".
Now for the next question of the day:
Several Hayley songs "take place" specifically in the USA, such as "Shenandoah", "Chattanooga Choo-Choo", "Lullaby of Broadway" and the tunes from "West Side Story" ---- are there any others?

Ah, too bad I stumped everyone again. There is one such song. Any guesses? Moving on to my newest question of the day...Which academic subjects are mentioned in her songs?

OK Steve, You mentioned "Sonny".
There was a minstrel singer by the name of Al Jolson (early 1900s, he was in the first talking picture, "The Jazz Singer)
He did a sad song also called "Sonny Boy"
Question.... What one more thing does Hayley have in common with Al Jolson?

Geometry and Poetry in Dark Waltz. Well done Colin! There's also "Spanish" (from CW's "Spanish Lady")!

Ah, too bad I stumped everyone again. There is one such song. Any guesses? Aside from the fact that she sang The Star-Spangled Banner once. (Though, I don't know if that makes it a "Hayley song"). I can't think of any other.

That was it, Sonata! Thanks! Oh, and any song she sings instantly becomes a "Hayley song", IMO! Question.... What one more thing does Hayley have in common with Al Jolson? Just a tiny bit of research (thanks, Google!) reveals that Jolson, too, recorded for Decca! How 'bout another question of the day...What two amusement park rides are mentioned in Hayley's songs?

Oh, and any song she sings instantly becomes a "Hayley song", IMO! I'm with you on that! So, I can say that our national anthem is a "Hayley song"! That's pretty cool. What two amusement park rides are mentioned in Hayley's songs? There's a "roller coaster ride" in I Say Grace. And You'll Never Walk Alone comes from the musical "Carousel".

[..... And You'll Never Walk Alone comes from the musical "Carousel". Heh, I hadn't thought about that one. But there's one more ride she sang about. Know what it is?

Today's question of the day:
A few Hayley songs include food items in their lyrics -- can you name them?

How do come up with all these questions?? Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme ( Scarborough Fair) - not exactly food, but we use them in cooking Angel Hair (type of pasta ), Ice Cream ( Both Sides Now)
