That's it! Happy Birthday to them all in one month!
Okay, now for a really tough new question of the day...
Hayley's music isn't typically associated with military drums, yet there are two songs of hers which do, indeed, have that. Can you name them?

I think I know that one! Amazing Grace and Shenandoah.

I think I know that one! Amazing Grace and Shenandoah. Excellent, sonata! Maybe I can stump you with the latest question of the day:You will find many Hayley songs that mention rain, snow and wind, but just one song with the word "fog". Can you name that song?

Maybe I can stump you with the latest question of the day:Not quite yet. Isn't the answer Bright Eyes?

... Isn't the answer Bright Eyes? Yes it is! Did my "hint" help or did you know the answer? Today's newest question of the day is:What are the best three Hayley songs for morning, afternoon and evening?
|
|
|
Post by Tin on May 31, 2008 15:54:57 GMT
Let me try it:
Morning: Morning has broken (self-explanatory)
Afternoon: Summer Rain (Days of burning sun, watch the colours run), this one I'm not too sure about
Night: Silent Night (self-explanatory)
P.S. What if I answered Il Mare Calmo Della Sera (The calm evening sea) for 'Night'?
P.S.2 Steve do you mean three songs for morning, three for afternoon and three for night respectively (nine songs in total) or one song for each?

Yes it is! Did my "hint" help or did you know the answer? I actually had no clue. So, I tried to think of some Hayley song, and then Bright Eyes started playing in my head.

Thanks, Tinmeigut. I think your answer works very well.
And the next question of the day is...
True or False: Hayley Westenra has the same birthday as actor Haley Joel Osment.

Hmm, no takers on that one. Maybe I'll have better luck with this question of the day:The classic Greek elements of earth, air, fire and water show up in four Hayley songs respectively -- can you name them?

Sorry Steve about forgetting your previous 'Question of the day', let me take on it now. Yes, both of them share the same birthday but Haley was born one year later than Hayley. As for your question today... Since I'm not at home (I admit I'm using my office's computer i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif) I can't check my iTunes playlist now- but I'll still give a try. Water- The Water Is Wide Fire- Bright Eyes (Bright eyes burning like fire...) Air- Walking in the Air Earth- Let Me Lie (On my mother earth I lean...) Why, Steve, have you got a cult of Dan Brown's Angels and Demons?

Here's a totally different set
Earth - Dido's Lament (when I am laid, am laid in Earth) water - You are water fire - Chestnuts roasting on an open fire air - Both Sides Now (ice cream castles in the air)

Great answers, Tinmeigut and Martin! (For what it's worth, I would have also accepted "ballpark" answers like: Fire: "...Eternal flame"; Air: "Cold, cold wind..." from ATUOT; Water: "River of dreams...."; and Earth: "God defend New Zealand")
So as to the newest question of the day...
What is Hayley's lowest note and in which song does it occur?

OK, Steve, Hayley's lowest note....."Amazing Grace" from the live bonus version from "Hayley Westenra" ?? I was just ready to log out but I just thought of another song... "I Dreamed A Dream" from the Russell Watson live DVD.. That's my best shot, Howard
