Hi everyone, Out of curiousity, I would like to know what do you do for a living? I will not be surprised to know that Hayley has fans from all walks of life. Starting with myself, I am still currently a student, and will be graduating in June. I majored and graduated in sound engineering and will try to get a job in the audio post production industry, which is responsible for the sound(music, sound effects, dialogues etc) for films, TV shows etc. One of my dreams though, is of course, to record and/or mix Hayley's songs i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif (which, I doubt will happen...) So what is your occupation? Yong-Le

The technical term of my occupation is data entry analyst. I work in a mail-order clothing company's customer service office. We offer men's and women's clothing and also household goods and electronic gadgets. This building used to warehouse our women's clothing portion of the company, but has just relocated to the state of Georgia. There are only about 35 people in my office. My twin brother John works in another department. Also some mothers have their sons and daughters working alongside each other. My duties are to enter customer orders into our system. Things like their size and color choice must be keyed carefully. My My job of data entry analyst has changed in recent years. There used to be 40+ others working in my dept. But like so many American companies, the work is outsourced to India and the Philippines. Customer orders are sent to them via scanner. Now my dept. only consists of me and my group lead. My other duties are customer service (add/delete customers), clearing (opening envelopes and sorting personal checks), and mailroom (letter stuffing). I recently was given Internet and e-mail on my PC at work. I really want to visit this forum at work but I don't want to get caught If you want more info, give me a private message and I'll give you my company's website to look at what we offer.

What a coincidence, I'm a student graduating in June too! I major in computing science and minor in business admin. After graduation, I'll be working for a company I worked for during my internship as a developer. Good luck Yong, never know if you'll be working with Hayley on her future albums Allen

Hello Yong-Le and everybody! I used to be a Control Engineer with London Electricity, but I took voluntary redundancy and early retirement four years ago when the control room moved to Ipswich in Suffolk. I haven't done a stroke of paid work since. Now I'm having such a good time supporting Hayley I wouldn't have time to go back into employment, but I do support a hospice in Clapham that looked after my mother. I help at various fund-raising events there as a volunteer, and we've got a sale there tomorrow, so I won't be on-line tomorrow morning. I will have a session tomorrow evening. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Hi
I am a Control Room Engineer with National Grid (Gas Operations) - was British Gas, Lattice etc. but now part of National Grid. Work 24/7 shifts so plenty of time off but also plenty of times working unsociable hours and bank holidays. Been there since school (36 years!) and very envious of Richard who has his voluntary redundancy! I am patiently waiting for my opportunity which may not be too far away.

Hi Yong-Le,
My first job was as a dealer on the London Stock Exchange but I am now a team leader in the claims department of an insurance company. You might say I started at the top and worked my way down!
