Lovely pictures Caite.
I had an email from my friends in Boston Mass recently. They were taking a weekend in Conneticut expecting to see evidence of the Fall. This reminded me of a time I was out there and we were watching the daily weather reports for the colour line moving south and then chose to drive into Vermont for a long day's drive, just to see the Fall colours. A superb day despite the overclouding. You need the sun out to really appreciate the New England Fall with all the maples..
All the best. Keep shooting and sharing.

By the by, forgot to add at the time, I could almost smell the pines behind your back lot. Just like where my f riends have been and currently are living.

Hi Caite! Lovely pictures! I also love snow but when it starts to snow around Christmas time it's early enough. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifToday it was a sunny day here in Germany, even to warm to wear a jacket. But it's about to change next week. Thomas

Wow, I just finished an exhausting two weeks at school. Only a couple more months until I graduate.... Anyway, all the pictures look great. Caite, I love the snow pictures. The snowmen are cute. Here are a couple pictures I took while I was at an old mansion that was donated to my university in the 40's with my little sister. The weather was really good when these pictures were taken (I was in short sleeves). But in the last couple of days is has gotten COLD. We haven't gotten snow yet, but up in Chicago they have (I am a couple hours south.) Pretty flowers. Joining in with the running theme of bees. Katie

You'll be lucky with global warming as it is--although you did say 'UK' so the Scottish Highlands...? Just as long as it refrains from snowing until after Hayley at Harrogate and me at Grassington over the moors! Having said that, I was out and about today and have been most surprised at trees loaded with fruit generally but especially holly, which seems extraordinarily early as well as heavily abundant. Usually (the legend has it) that augurs a hard winter! Peter S.

Hi all My wife & I went out for an early morning walk (7 miles) and I took some pics to share with you of the autumn English countryside, when the mist is still to clear and its still slightly dark ! This is the first time I have posted any photos, I hope my photograpy will improve ! Cherwell river, near Oxford bursting over its banks Wroxton Hall, near where I live, after the sun had come out ! Best regards Mark.

When Wroxton Hall came into view I thought the caption was going to be, 'chez moi'! I'm relieved to know in dealing with you I am still dealing with 'one of us'. My future aspirations are cleaarly going to remain merely aspirations. In the mean time I make do with justing meeting those who do live in such places!
Incidentally. It looks a very lovely house to live in.

Hi Mark!
Nice pictures. I love the Engligh countryside. I also prefer the rural areas where you live closer to the nature than in big cities.

I know it's a long way from us all (and from Hayley). I know it's not much consolation but it is said that the "The best things in life are worth waiting for" Just think about those of us having to wait until probably January 2008 to visit your wonderful country! You're already there. Keep smiling Grant

Thanks Grant,
First i have to put the word photography in the post to make the message on topic in the off topic section,
and i know to well the reason's she never here for a concert and i am starting to come to terms with the fact, what won't be won't be.
I'd love to see some of you at a concert in Christchurch someday, that would be
