Hi Joyce Great pictures! There was a skating rink in Derby Market Place over Christmas and New Year, luckily for me I never learnt how to skate! Best wishes Grant

Great pictures everyone! I am finally logging in to post. I have been stopping in to read posts on the forum every couple of weeks, but due to an extremely busy schedule I probably haven’t posted in over a year. I have quite a back log of pictures to share. Below are a few. I am going to try and post more over the next few days. Taken in New Orleans. Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina or Tennessee (I can’t remember what state, the park is right on the border of them.) Near Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina. Taken in Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina. Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina. Barrier island in South Carolina. Taken in South Carolina. I just though this was funny. Live Oak George Washington saved. Taken in South Carolina at a historic house (I can’t remember the name.) Katie Richard--That's what happens when you don't post for so long. You forget about the small things. I think all the picture sizes are in line now.

Hello Katie! It's good to see you posting again, but unfortunately your photographs all exceed the forum limit of 100KB. I left the smallest three in your post but removed the image tags from the others to leave clickable links. If you can reduce the size of the files to 100KB or less, please feel free to repost the other photographs. Many thanks, Richard

Hi Drew,
Was that you? I've half a mind to remove it from the list in that case! However, as some say I have only half a mind anyway, I won't bother!
Just so everyone is aware, we are not planning to lock the photography thread next week. We only did so on one occasions when we thought there would be many concerts in quick succession and many members attending each of them. We will see how things go but this thread is likely to remain open.
Roger

This looks like a great setting for one of Hayley's Concerts..... Good idea Dean. It is only 20 minutes boatride from the airport. Unfortunately the airport is 11 hours from Gatwick. It is almost exactly the half way point between Heathrow and Christchurch, a perfect place for stretching the legs during the interval. I put it on your map just in case!

Well, I guess she will be passing that way pretty soon, she could put in a quick performance. Can she really walk on water though!

It's "knight-time" again: Templar Knight. Jerusalem knight. Frederick Barbarossa. Knight of Santiago. Knight of Santiago facing down an Assassin. But he could have the advantage if he can raise his sword before the fanatic is on him. Advancing Crusaders. Advance of the Kings of Navarre, Castile, and Aragon (l-r). Viva La Reconquista! The officers and nobles stand and watch, waiting for the right moment to throw themselves into the fray. Yep, these pieces were all made using the same casting. Could do more, but 5 is plenty. The King of Jerusalem and Cyprus. The Masters and the kings.

Lovely pictures everyone. But Grant, why did you have to post those pictures of London? I was already missing it and now I miss it more. I'm trying to save my money for school, but it's hard when I want to hop on the next plane to London!! <3 Caitlin

Hi everyone Great photography posted over the last week or so - thanks for sharing . It would be wonderful to see you back here in London again Caitlin - keep saving your money and maybe one day Anyway, I thought it was about time that I shared a few more photo's with you all. I live in the countryside, not far from Oxford in England and there are lots of places to walk nearby. We often go for a long walk most weekends and last weekend we walked around the grounds of Blenhiem Palace. For those of you who may not know, it is the childhood home of the famous English primeminister, Winston Churchill. Here are a few shots I took of the house and grounds: The house in the distance from the bridge over the lake The house closer up Part of the lake in the grounds Its a fantastic place - very large grounds and a magnificant home. Well worth a visit if your ever over this way. Regards Mark
